First off, the black sponge just looks cool. Of course the performance is great too — the sponge really grips the ball, and the sheet still puts spin on it, so the ball ends up with a lot of weight behind it! I'd recommend it for intermediate players who are frustrated with their shots feeling too light!

This might work well for Iseki-san lol - I think it suits players with a style like his, with solid impact and shaking up the opponent with spin, but it's a difficult rubber for intermediate players.

Honestly the normal 999 was already good enough. This one bounces even less, which actually makes chopping harder too, and on top of that attacking shots lost even more power, so I'd recommend the normal version instead!

Aside from being sensitive to incoming spin, this is a god-tier rubber. It's soft, but the topsheet is incredibly firm, so it grabs spin really well! On top of that it has the block speed that soft rubbers are known for, so you get both stability and speed! Highly, highly recommended for the backhand side!

The rebound is really good. Of course, being a short-pips rubber the spin is just so-so, but I'd say this might be one of the fastest rubbers in the large-ball scene. It lets you play fast, exciting rallies!
