      The rubber itself is 37.5 degrees hardness, so when you pinch it with your fingers it feels really squishy.
      It's quite soft, so I tried putting it on my backhand side, and I was surprised how light it was.
      When I actually hit with it, it grabs the ball incredibly well. The spin you get on loop drives is insane...
      Since it's light, switching between shots is faster and it's easier to control.
      Flat hits go in easily too, but the ball is a bit slow.
      If you pair it with a hard blade like Emerald, you get more speed out of it.
      What I felt was that this would be perfect for the backhand side of a penhold blade. After cutting it to size the weight was 44g (pens would be even lighter since this is a shakehand cut), and the control is great too, so penhold players should definitely give it a try.

      I put this on my backhand. My first impression was that it's really soft and the control is amazing. Since it's soft, I expected the speed to be lacking, but it actually flies pretty well (more than I expected)! That said, if you don't get a good grip on the ball, the spin ends up weak and the trajectory flattens out, so that's something to watch for.
      Serving might be a bit tricky. When I served the way I normally do, the ball slipped and I got almost no spin at all.
      Also, compared to other rubbers, pushes tend to float a little.
      That said, the control is easy to use, and if you grip the ball properly, it spins well and has good bounce (more than expected), so this might be a good rubber for people who can swing through the ball and who prioritize control.

      The ball comes up nicely. The amount of spin feels like what you'd get from a medium-hardness sponge, and the control has that distinctive soft-rubber control quality to it.

      Great grip on the ball, and the spin you get on drives is insane! (probably not for beginners though) The short game over the table is easy too... but it just doesn't have the speed. The lifespan is by far the best in the whole Rasant lineup! (it's discontinued now, but I really wish they'd at least kept this one around...) I think you can still find it sold as old stock somewhere, so it's worth looking around for (lol)

      This is a rubber that's being discontinued because of the release of the Rasanter line, but it was a good one.
      I borrowed a friend's and gave it a try.
      At 37.5 degrees it's quite soft, and it feels quite soft when you hit with it too.
      That said, the topsheet has good spring to it, so even when you dropped the contact point low you could still put spin on the return.
      Also, over the table it didn't bounce as much as I expected, so I think it's a pretty appealing rubber for anyone who likes soft rubbers.

      With the release of the Rasanter line, the older Rasant series got a price cut, so I picked this up.
      I'm using it on the forehand side for chopping.

      The rubber itself is very soft — pinching it with your fingers feels genuinely pleasant.
      Because of that, it grips the ball strongly and generates a lot of spin. As for bounce, it's about average for an inverted rubber, maybe even a bit above.

      I tried it out for chopping and found it pretty good.

      The one issue is that it might become hard to find going forward, so I suppose I'll need to start thinking about my next rubber.
