This is a blade for all-around players. It's not amazing at any one technique from any position, but it handles everything competently — a real all-rounder honor student!

I've really tried all kinds of blades, but in the end my go-to blade has settled on this Def Play Senzo. I can't recommend pairing it with a soft rubber — it ends up too flexible and mushy, in an unpleasant way, and you lose both spin and bounce. On the flip side though, pairing it with a harder rubber solves the weight issue, makes up for the lack of bounce, and gives you good spin — it's a fantastic match! For long pips, I'd recommend Vega Asia or Rasant Power Grip, and for pips, Curl P-4 or P-1, Octopus, or Spike P-2!

The whole Evolution series is excellent, but this rubber in particular puts real power behind the ball. I'd recommend it for players who use their footwork properly and can hit from a solid position even in matches — intermediate level and above!

This rubber feels like an evolved Tackiness Chop, or like a Vega Europe that lost its bounce. The chopping performance is really amazing - it almost feels like I can return anything! The raw spin numbers aren't that high, but this rubber is really specialized for control. If you can sink the ball in, you can also get shots with decent speed on them! I'd recommend it for the forehand of beginner-to-intermediate choppers, or the backhand of intermediate loopers!

This was the last rubber I needed to complete the full Vega lineup, but it's the lowest-performing one in the Vega series.
That said, it's perfect as an intro to tension rubbers! In exchange for lower absolute spin and speed numbers, it's very easy to use.
It has no real weak points, and it matches any blade. Short game shots tend to pop up a bit, but you'll get used to that quickly.
I'd recommend it for beginners just getting into tension rubbers, or for the backhand of intermediate players!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
