A Japanese tacky rubber. It's genuinely developed for Japanese players and feels like a Chinese rubber that's easy to get grip with — a good impression overall. It's a rubber that satisfies just about anyone who uses it, but on the flip side, it doesn't have much of a distinct character.

This is a true Chinese rubber. Very hard, and it really grips the ball for spin. Because of that, it might be tough for beginners to use, but the price makes it easy to pick up even if you're just trying it out after using tension rubber!

    User review

When I hit with it expecting it to feel like Mark V, I did think it was quite bouncy, but compared to the spin-oriented tension rubbers that are dominant right now, the bounce is noticeably inferior. High-tension rubbers are stable, but the stability doesn't come from the arc the way it usually does, so honestly it felt unique and took time to get used to. If you're used to spin-oriented tension rubbers, it's important to practice patiently until you adjust!

I'd known for a while that Chinese choppers like Wu Yang use this, so I was curious about it. I didn't really have the image of short pips generating much spin, but you can produce both sharply spinning chops and dead knuckle balls with it. Of course it's not for everyone — I'd say it's more for players skilled enough to reach the round of 16 at a prefectural inter-high tournament!

    User review

This is pretty hard — even among hard rubbers, it's on the harder end! The power on a single shot is insane, but the short game does feel a bit tricky. I think it's fine once you get used to it, but it's tough for beginners and intermediates, so it's better suited to intermediate players and above who are okay with a hard rubber.
