Since it has ZLC, I figured it would bounce a lot, but because the blade is thin, it's actually easy to put spin on.
The feel is on the soft side too, so it doesn't jar your hand much. That said, while spin-heavy techniques are easy, for meet-hit techniques like smashes, I got the impression you need to hit dead center to strike it cleanly. Also, the trajectory tends to be flat, which made things a bit tough for a beginner like me. Just like everyone else says, the spin performance is amazing! With this rubber, it doesn't feel like the spin is only coming from the surface — it feels like the topsheet and Butterfly's unique Spring Sponge work together as one to generate the spin! Because of that, even when the surface gets a bit dirty, or on a humid day, it still puts plenty of spin on the ball! Also, if you hit it firmly, you get quite a bit of speed too — smash it hard and you get a nice crisp "pop" sound, brush it and the ball sinks right into the sponge, giving it a strangely unique feel (lol). Unfortunately, price increases have made it a very expensive rubber, but it's still one worth trying at least once ♪

I used this on my backhand. Since it doesn't fly much, the power is a bit lacking, but I had a good impression of the push and block. Pushes stop short, and blocking with a flat push-through gives a slight knuckle effect. People say it's similar to Tenergy, but personally I felt it was a completely different rubber. With Tenergy 05, even when I was off balance and returned the ball awkwardly, the spin would still help me out in some situations, but with Fastarc G1, a half-hearted hit gives you a half-hearted ball (lol). On top of that, it also seems more sensitive to surface dirt and humidity... I first used it on my forehand, but it didn't quite click, and I felt it suited my backhand better. I think Fastarc G1 can be used on either forehand or backhand, but I'd recommend using it on whichever side you're stronger on. As for the price, honestly I think mid-6,000 yen is expensive. If it were in the 4,000 yen range, that would feel more reasonable~

First off, with the gray blade and blue grip, I thought the design looked really cool. It's supposed to have ultra-thin carbon built in, but the control is good and it feels relatively close to a pure wood blade, without much of the odd feel that special materials often have. The weight is also on the light side, which makes it good for consecutive attacks too!
