I normally use the Infinity, but I wanted something with a bit more speed, so I gave this a try.
Drive speed, spin, control - across the board, it's easier to use than the Infinity.
You get out exactly as much power as you put into the swing.
Even delicate techniques like the short game and serve returns are no problem, even though this is a fast blade.
Blade weight: 84g
Weight with max-thickness rubber on both sides: 183g

Moving over from the Infinity.
Like the title says, when you hit lightly you might wonder, "wait, is there carbon in this?"
- it's that smooth a transition from an all-wood blade.
I put max-thickness rubber on both sides, but it doesn't bounce excessively
once you get used to it, control isn't an issue at all!
When you hit hard (both drives and smashes), it flies exactly as much as you swing
with very little energy loss, which is great ♪
Serve receive, blocking, and other techniques where you don't want the ball to fly were also easy to do.
It responds exactly to however much you want the ball to fly

The sponge is on the harder side, and the sheet grips less than Genesis.
If you swing through properly, spin isn't a problem at all.
The sponge pushes the ball forward, giving it
real speed! (Not much energy loss)
You can still get the ball out there even when playing away from the table ♪
Since the sheet doesn't grip too much, smashes are easy to hit!
I'd recommend this for players who mix topspin drives and smashes ♪Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Used max thickness on my forehand.
Compared to Mantra, even at the same M hardness, it feels a bit softer.
The topsheet grip is good, but because the sponge is soft,
if you hit hard the same way you would with Mantra M, the ball drops.
You get a better ball if you hit it more like a strike than a brush.

The short game and blocking are easy to do.
For someone who swings hard, it might feel too soft.
