For an all-wood 5-ply blade, it has a slightly hard impact feel that's actually quite pleasant.

Even with Hurricane Neo 3, there's plenty of bounce, so you can go toe-to-toe in a rally even from mid-distance or away from the table.

C-1 on the backhand also feels really nice to hit with.

If you're putting a tension rubber on the forehand, it might be better with something a touch harder.

The grip is thin, but for me (average adult male hand size) it's just right — I like that it doesn't make me grip with unnecessary force.

It has a firmer, more solid core hardness compared to the Acoustic.

    The feel is soft.
For a 7-ply, the bounce is fairly restrained, but it's very easy to handle.

Since it's light (80g), the power is just okay, but I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a light blade but feels a 5-ply isn't quite enough.

Both drives and blocks are very stable.

    There are rumors it's Tenergy-like,
but it doesn't have quite that much grip on the ball.
That said, it's very stable and well-balanced across every technique.

I'd recommend it for both forehand and backhand, from beginner up to intermediate level.

It feels like a well-balanced Rounder with a significant power boost.

The quality is good too — a rubber I can recommend.

For a modern German-made tension rubber, the performance is more than adequate.

    Comparing it to Tenergy 05:

    Speed: R47 > 05

    Ball-holding: 05 > R47

    Spin: 05 > R47

When you hit with 05 right after R47, you do end up feeling like, "yeah, this is Tenergy."
The grip on the ball is just different.

That said, when you factor in the price, I think the performance is more than good enough.
