  I bought this out of curiosity since it's basically an inner-ply version of the TSP Vesti I used to use. It shares things in common with the Vesti - the balance point is close to the handle, it's light, and control is good - but it's better than the Vesti when it comes to generating spin. That makes it especially well suited to the plastic ball. The Vesti has slightly more speed, but this one still has plenty of bounce. Another advantage is that the short game plays almost like an all-wood blade. When I went to a table tennis specialty shop, I heard this is currently their best seller. It's light enough for women to swing easily, yet it bounces and generates spin easily if you swing hard - a real all-rounder. It doesn't have any one standout strength, but its overall performance is just very high.

  以前使っていたＴＳＰのベスティをインナーにしたラケットということで興味本位で買いました。重心が手元にあり軽い、コントロールが良いというベスティとの共通点を持ちながら回転の掛けやすさはベスティより上でした。この点がプラボールに一番適しています。スピードはベスティの方が少し上ですが、十分な弾みを持ちます。台上は木材のようにプレーできるのがもう一つの長所。卓球専門店に行ったら今一番売れていると聞きました。女性にも振りやすい軽さでありながら強く振れば弾みなおかつ回転が掛けやすい万能型です。突出した長所はありませんが、総合力がとにかく高い。

  This is better than any chopping blade I've used before. It gets good distance, and the spin makes it easy to attack. Yet chops still land in. It's similar to the Kohji Matsushita Offensive, but the ball sits on it a bit longer, which brings stability to both attacking and chopping. The grip is a slightly rounded flat type that's easy to hold. What really stands out is how good the feel on contact is. Blades with this pleasant a feel are rare.

  今まで使ったどのカット用ラケットよりもいいです。飛距離も出るし、回転が掛かるから攻撃しやすい。しかし、カットは収まる。松下浩二オフェンシブと似ていますが、少し球持ちがよく、それが攻撃でもカットでも安定感をもたらします。グリップは微妙に丸みを帯びた平たいタイプで握りやすいです。特筆すべきは打球感の良さ。これほど気持ちのいい打球感を持つラケットは珍しいです。

  A 7-ply blade with an interesting concept. Its biggest strength is how easy it is to generate spin. The bounce is roughly on par with an all-round blade like the Koji Matsushita Offensive. The larger blade head suits chopping fairly well, but it's not great for fast counter-attacks that need quick switching. It was apparently designed originally for unorthodox-style players, but I feel it's actually best suited to all-round choppers with inverted rubber on both sides who rely heavily on backhand drives, like Eida. It's a blade with its own unique niche, and the design looks great too.

  面白いコンセプトの７枚合板。回転の掛けやすさが最大の長所。弾みは松下浩二オフェンシブ程度のALLぐらい。ブレードが大きくカットにある程度向いている反面切り返しが必要な速攻には不向き。元々異質選手用に作られたらしいのですが、英田選手のようなバックハンドドライブを多用するオールラウンドな裏裏カットマンなどに一番向いている気がします。デザインの美しさも感じさせる独自のポジションを持つラケットです。

  OMEGA V TOUR DF

  

  With the plastic ball I felt Omega V Euro was too soft, so I bought this newer sister rubber instead. It has good grip and suits the plastic ball well. It's moderately hard, which seems to suit wood or inner-carbon blades. This rubber shines the most when hitting against backspin. It's aimed at players with a fairly strong impact, and interestingly it's surprisingly easy to chop with too. I've heard a lot of national-level senior players use it, and I can see why - it's a high-performance rubber.
  The one downside is durability. Having used the long-lasting Rakza X before, this one feels like it wears out a bit faster. Also, it's a heavy rubber, so watch out for the weight.

  プラボールではオメガＶヨーロだとラバーが柔らかすぎると感じ、新しく出た姉妹ラバーのこれを買いました。グリップ力があり、プラボール向き。硬さは適度に硬く、木材やインナー使用のラケットに合う印象です。下回転の球を打つ時このラバーの一番の良さを感じます。ある程度インパクトの強い人向けで、面白いのは意外とカットがやりやすいこと。全国レベルのシニア世代の選手に使用者が多いと聞きますが、それも頷ける高性能ラバー。
  唯一のネックは寿命。寿命の長いラクザＸを使っていたこともあり、寿命がやや短く感じます。また、重いラバーなので重量は注意して下さい。

  I mainly play backhand, so my backhand isn't an issue, but my forehand topspin drive lacks power, so I was looking for a blade that would let me make up for it with smashes and counters instead - and I found one. The weight is concentrated toward the tip and the wood is quite thick, so this is the heaviest-feeling blade I've ever used. As for performance, even though it's an inner blade, it flies like the Gergely 21 or Primorac Carbon. What really stands out is the push - I've had a higher success rate cracking through with one push than with any other blade I've used. It might be because of that brief moment of ball-holding. It's discontinued now, so I'm going to take good care of it.

  バックハンド主戦型でバックは困らないのですが、フォアハンドのドライブの威力が弱く代わりにスマッシュやカウンターで補う考えでそれ向きのラケットを探し見つけました。重心は先端でかなり重く板厚もあるので、これほど重く感じるラケットを使うのは初めてです。性能ですが、インナーにも関わらずゲルゲリー２１やプリモラッツカーボンに似たぶっ飛び系です。秀逸なのがツッツキ打ちで今まで使ったどのラケットよりも一発で抜ける確率が高かったです。「一瞬の球持ち」があるからかも知れません。廃番なので大事に使います。
