This is the long-awaited soft-sponge version of Spipi.
Used the thin sheet on the backhand.The amount of spin on chops is honestly ridiculous. It bites like crazy.
It's also easy to absorb the opponent's power shots, and you can freely control whether you put spin on it or not, and how fast or slow the ball travels —
I think it's a fantastic rubber for chopping.That said, since I've played inverted-inverted for a long time, this is probably just my own lack of skill, but my pushes didn't bite as much as I'd like.
Still, it's very easy to control the placement.My personal complaints were with attacking and blocking.
When attacking, maybe because the sponge is too soft, the ball release feels a bit sluggish, so it's not the easiest to put shots away.
As for blocking, it really wasn't stable — the ball dropped short a lot, which was pretty stressful.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Using this in thin thickness on my backhand.
I'm a chopper.
The spin grips best with a stroke somewhere between "grazing the surface" and "hitting through to the wood."
It grips enough that the ball can come back over the table on its own. It's got speed too, so it's fantastic for chopping
but the lifespan is on the short side. It's cheap though, so just re-glue it once you feel the spin dropping off.
You can attack with it too, but it's a bit tricky.
Playing it on a Matsushita Kohji Defensive, which keeps the bounce quite low, made me wish I'd put it on a slightly livelier blade instead.

Among short pips rubbers, this one grips the ball a ton, but it also flies quite a bit, so it's tricky to handle. In exchange, it's easy to attack with. I think it's a short pips rubber that anyone can use, whether you're a chopper or a regular attacking player.

I used the thick version for chopping. At first after buying it, I could freely choose whether to cut the ball or not, but after using it on a rainy day, honestly the feel seemed to get worse. It was only after someone told me the spin had gotten weaker that I realized the ball was getting smashed back at me right away.
On the attacking side, honestly it's a bit hard to hit with. I felt the block had a bit of a quirk to it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

To put it bluntly, this is a wonderful rubber.
This is the rubber I used back when I was an active player, and its defining feature is simply how enormous the spin is. It matches really well with the blade I used, the Muramatsu Yuto. If you keep the mindset of swinging downward from above, you can put solid spin even on a world-class player's drive and, with enough effort, induce mistakes ("this requires considerable skill" though).
That said, I think it's relatively easy to use. If you're aiming to become a short-pips chopper, I think it's worth trying at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is recommended for players who play a short-pips, close-to-the-table fast-attack style and can produce a decent impact with a meeting hit.
If you've just switched over from inverted rubber, you won't have developed the short-pips hitting technique yet, so I wouldn't recommend this rubber.If you're using an attacking short-pips rubber and feel like you're making a lot of mistakes, try putting the thin version of this rubber on a blade with a hard top ply.
I think you'll be surprised at how easy it is to use.Since the sponge is extremely soft, for light short-game touches or shots like drives where you come in at an angle to the ball's trajectory, the sponge's character comes through, giving you spin and stability.
Even with a light meeting hit, you get a very slight amount of drive spin that keeps it stable, but when you put in a strong impact that reaches all the way to the blade, its character suddenly changes, and it produces a knuckle ball with a satisfying "clack" sound.
In any case, being "easy to land on the table" is genuinely a huge help.
For players who prioritize control, I think this is more than enough to compete with. For players who prioritize ball power and variation, once you've gotten your rhythm back with this, go back to an attacking short-pips rubber. (lol)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Starting out with short pips, my first impression is that a spin-oriented type closer to inverted rubber is a good choice.
The bounce is also just right, and the feel of the shot is pleasant.
