For a carbon blade, it really doesn't bounce much.
If you're thinking of making a full switch to a carbon blade, I can't recommend this one.
That said, it does bounce more than a regular plywood blade, so if you feel plywood blades don't bounce enough but carbon blades bounce too much, this one might suit you.
    Hope this helps.

    Comparing it to Rozena
The sponge felt harder than Rozena's
As for how easy it is to get spin on, I think Rozena is better
But this rubber's ceiling is higher, and serves bite really well too
But unlike Rozena, it doesn't bounce much, so if you want speed, I think S-1 is good
But if you pair it with a bouncy blade, you get plenty of bounce and plenty of spin —
    since you can have both,
if you prioritize spin, pair it with a plywood blade and either keep the bounce down or leave it as is
if you want both, I'd recommend pairing it with a carbon blade
I'd be happy if this helps as a reference

  • FIRE FALL FC

    User review

Does this even really have special material in it?
    I was surprised at first
Right now I'm using the Innerforce Layer ALC, so I want to compare it to that.
    Speed
    Innerforce Layer ALC > FC
    Ease of generating spin
    Innerforce Layer ALC < FC
    Control
    Innerforce Layer ALC < FC
    That's roughly how it feels.
With the FC, the special material barely seems to show up - I think a 7-ply blade would actually have more bounce (just my personal opinion).
That said, the feel is close to carbon, so if you're thinking about moving from wood to a carbon blade, I think this is a good way to check out what that feel is like.

  • Tackiness Chop

    User review

It's a slightly tacky rubber that people who've just started chopping tend to use.
    It doesn't bounce much.
It's good for sinking the ball in and chopping.
The lifespan is on the short side.
For drives, it doesn't bounce much, but it was easy to use.
    Hope this helps!

I think this is a really good long pips rubber.
Spin reversal doesn't feel very strong.
Chop-block short shots are easy, and they get proper bite on them too.
