This is one of the classic beginner rubbers.
Along with Hammond and Grandy,
it's one of the big three.
Mark V has the best control of the three.
Grandy has the most spin.
And Hammond would be the most well-rounded overall, I'd say.
If you're a beginner looking for control, I think this Mark V is the one for you.

This rubber has a soft sponge, so it's very easy to put spin on.
The speed is decently fast, so I think it suits players of any level.
I bought it as my second rubber - it's easy to spin and bounces well, but after about two months of use it started peeling, so I think a short lifespan is its weak point.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

The ball leaves the rubber really fast
As for spin, since the sponge is soft, if you sink the ball in you get a decent amount, but because the ball releases so quickly, things like loop drives are hard to pull off
