This is a spin-oriented tension rubber, the kind that's mainstream in modern table tennis. Since it's Japanese-made rather than the currently trendy German-made rubbers, the way the sheet grips the ball should give you a real sense of reassurance when you use it.

This is for defensive penhold long-pips players. The feel is soft, control is extremely easy, and blocks stop the ball well. Pushes and angled hits lack a bit of speed because of that, but you can make up for it by focusing on placement so you don't give your opponent an easy ball. I was using sponge-backed long pips, but I think an OX (spongeless) rubber would suit this blade just fine too.
