I already own a Korbel, also a 5-ply blade, but I bought this because the bounce felt lacking. Since the blade is a thick 7mm, the feel came out close to that of a single-ply blade. It bounces just as well as special-material blades. I think the biggest advantage is that receiving serves becomes really easy. My forehand flick has become very stable and consistent. It's also light, so using Tenergy on both sides isn't a problem at all. It's no wonder Calderano uses it.

These are my impressions after switching from Tenergy 05 and using this for 3 months.
On paper it's harder than Tenergy, but when I actually hit with it, it doesn't feel that hard. It has good distance too, and above all the spin it generates is incredible. Thanks to that, I've been forcing a lot more opponents to overhit their blocks.
I've heard some people say it doesn't suit them and they went back to Tenergy, but I think compatibility with the blade matters too. This is just my own impression, but when I hit with a special high-bounce blade, the ball goes well but I don't feel much feedback from the hit. On the other hand, low-bounce inner-ply blades or plain wood blades give a much better feel. For reference, I use a 5-ply blade.
Lastly, like others have said, it feels longer-lasting than Tenergy. I've used it for 3 months and the surface has only gotten slightly whitish, but it still grips the ball a lot. Considering all this, I think Dignics 05 is better in both performance and value for money. Sorry for the long post.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'd always used Tenergy 05, but I got swept up by a feature on tacky rubbers in Table Tennis Kingdom magazine and bought this. Just like other reviewers said, even as a tension-rubber user I found it easy to use, and I really liked the unique feel of the ball off the rubber. But while it's fun to use, I stopped winning matches entirely. As expected, I couldn't score points at all because I couldn't get drive speed. Also, because my serves got more spin, my opponents' returns got sharper spin back at me too, which made the third ball harder. Like tacky rubbers in general, I don't think you can use this well unless you can generate real impact.
If you're just an enthusiastic amateur, I think it's better not to touch tacky rubbers. And even if you lose a lot, you need to be prepared to stick with it patiently for a long time. But I really loved the feel of the ball.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
