  VO>103

  

  I was expecting this to be the best of both the VO>101 and 102, but the first thing I noticed after opening the package was that the pips run lengthwise.
  The pip shape is a bit smaller than the VO>102, and the cross-section is closer to cylindrical. Does that mean it's not really a spin-oriented rubber?
  When you hit forehand shots, naturally the ball "drops" more, and so does the opponent's return (compared to the VO>102).
  When driving a low backspin ball, it doesn't get as much spin as the VO>102 and tends to sail over on a fairly straight line without arcing.
  A slightly floating backspin ball, if you just hit it flat, goes in at about the same speed as the VO>102, so the speed was decent.
  When I tried backhand blocking, knuckle balls came out normally. Backhand control is relatively easy.
  It's faster than the Red&Blue Spectrum and produces knuckle balls too, so I'd recommend it for players who use knuckle balls on the backhand while still pushing forward.
  I don't think it suits shakehand forehand-pips or Japanese-penhold forehand-pips players who create chances with forehand drives and then smash.
  I switched back to the VO>102 that same day.

  期待はVO>101と102のいいとこ取りだったのですが、パッケージを開けて見て初めて気がついた「縦目」。
  粒形状はVO>102よりも少し小さめで、断面は円柱に近い。ということは…　回転系ではない？
  フォア打ちすると当然「落ちる」相手も「落ちる」（VO>102比）
  低い下回転をドライブすると回転がVO>102よりもかからず、弧線を描かないでやや直線的にオーバー。
  やや浮いた下回転はそのままボールを叩けばVO>102と同じスピードで入るのでスピードはまずまずでした。
  バックブロックをしてみるとナックルは普通に出ます。バックでのコントロールは比較的しやすいです。
  赤青スペクトルよりはスピードは出ますし、ナックルも出るのでバックでナックルを使いつつ押し込んで行くタイプにはおすすめです。
  フォアドライブでチャンスを作り叩いていくシェークフォア表や日ペンフォア表の人には不向きかと思います。
  私は同日にVO>102に戻してしまいました。

  VO＞102

  

  I've gone through more than 10 sheets of this over time. At 2.0mm thickness on a standard shakehand blade it weighs 38-40g, which makes it heavyweight for a short pips rubber.
  As everyone else's reviews say, it boasts top-class spin and speed for a short pips rubber.
  When rallying with a beginner, if you put a bit of topspin on it to keep the rally going, you can rally normally, but if you always hit it that way, you end up with a ball quality that has none of the benefits of short pips, so be careful. Unless you experiment to figure out at what height you can drive the ball flat without adding spin, you won't get to enjoy this rubber's real advantages.

  通算10枚以上使ってます。厚さ2.0で標準的なシェークラケットで38～40gと表ソフトの中では重量級です。
  皆さんがレビューしているように表ソフトとしてはトップクラスの回転とスピードを誇ります。
  初心者とラリーをする際に少しドライブをかけて続くようにしてあげると普通にラリーができてしまいますが、いつもその打ち方をしていると表メリットなしの球質になってしまうので注意が必要です。どのぐらいの高さになったら水平に回転をかけずに打ち込めるかを試行錯誤で見つけていかないとこのラバーのメリットを享受できません。

  ALBA

  

  It's been a year and a half since I bought this. I got it before the price increase.
  At 86g, I'd say it's on the light side for a 7-ply. Compared to other blades, the grip goes a bit deeper into the blade area, so the total surface area for the rubber is slightly smaller. Compared to something like a STIGA, the rubber comes out about 2g lighter per side at max thickness. It's good for people who want max thickness on both sides but still want to keep the total weight down.
  The feel is excellent. When you hit hard, you can feel a solid "core" to it. The bounce is definitely weaker compared to special-material blades, but it strikes a nice balance between a sense of security and speed.
  I had a lower-level woman player (not a total beginner - someone who already uses carbon blades) try hitting with the Timo Boll ALC, the plain Acoustic, the SWAT, and the Alba, and asked which felt best to hit with. The order was Alba, plain Acoustic, Timo Boll ALC, then SWAT. She said the vibration in the hand felt the most pleasant with the Alba.

  購入してから１年半。値上げ前の購入でした。
  重さは86gと、7枚合板としては軽めかと思います。他のラケットと比べてグリップの板側の部分がやや深いので貼るラバーの総面積が少しだけ小さくなります。STIGAあたりと比べると貼り上がりラバー重量が厚で片面2g程度軽くなります。両面特厚にしたいが総重量を軽くしたい人には良いと思います。
  打球感が非常に良いです。強く打った際に「芯」のある堅さを感じます。弾みは特殊素材に比べて弱いのは間違いないですが安心感とスピードが両立されている感じです。
  女性の初級者（初心者ではない、カーボンラケット使用者）に試し打ちしてもらいました、ティモボルALC、アコースティック無印、SWAT、アルバでどれが気持ちよく打てるかと聞いたら、アルバ、アコースティック無印、ティモボルALC、SWATの順でした。手に響く感じで一番心地が良いそうです。

  AQUA BLADE α

  

  This is a hard blade. The feel is really satisfying. It's DARKER, after all.
  If you put a harder rubber on the forehand short pips, the ball releases too quickly when lifting low backspin, which is tough to deal with.
  Right now I'm using the slightly softer VO>102 as my go-to.
  On the other hand, what's tricky is the backhand inverted rubber - I've tried a few softer rubbers, but I don't get much sense of holding the ball.
  If I had to pick one, Rakza X Soft 2.0 felt like the best match.
  If you're a short-pips-on-backhand player, this blade might give you a bit of trouble.

  硬めのラケットです。打球感は非常に気持ちいいです。さすがはDARKERです。
  フォア表は硬めのラバーを貼ると低い下回転を持ち上げる際に球離れが早すぎで苦労します。
  現在はやや柔らかめのVO>102を愛用中。
  一方悩ましいのがバックの裏ソフトで柔らかめのラバーをいくつか試していますが、球を持つ感覚があまり出ません。
  あえて言えばラクザXソフト2.0が相性が良かった感じです。
  バック表の人がこのラケットを使うとちょっと苦労しそうですね。
