Getting back into table tennis after a long break.
I decided to buy the best rubber out there and started with Dignics 05 in the "Hard" thickness, but it flew off my racket way more than I expected - lots of speed but control was really hard...So I tried a demo rubber at the store just to see... and it turned out way easier to use than I expected!!!
According to the spec sheet, it's supposed to bounce just a bit less than Dignics 05, but no, it's totally different. It bounces way less than you'd think. This was 09C in Max thickness, and it barely bounces at all compared to the Hard thickness of the 05.But the spin, and the feel of the ball sinking into the sponge, are really easy to get a grip on. I think it's easy enough for beginners going from Rozena to Dignics to use too.
If you hit it properly the ball flies with real force, topspin drives get insane spin, serves get spin too, and since it doesn't bounce much, control is really easy.
Highly recommended. Please, please go pick one up.
Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
