It has an arylate-carbon layer, so it produces quite a lot of speed.
If you don't want too much speed, I think a tacky rubber or a medium/thin sponge would work well.
I'm using Xiang Long thick myself, and it took a while to get used to.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
