  QUARTET VFC

  

  Switched to this from a Korbel with Rasanter R47 2.0 and Rozena 1.9. My first carbon blade. I test-hit it at a shop and liked it along with the V15 Stiff, so I bought it and paired it with a V15 Extra Max and a Stiff 2.0. It's an FL, 86g for the blade, 188g with rubbers on. First impression: my topspin drives kept sailing long, and weaker-touch techniques like serves and stops just didn't have enough pop for me to control. After some practice, the spin came on well, the ball went in deep more easily, and serves and short game shots didn't fly too much so they were easy to keep short. That said, the speed is fast, but the ball feels a bit light. Also, the grip is thin and slightly angular, which suited me well.

  コルベルにラザンターR47の2.0、ロゼナ1.9から移行。初カーボン。某店舗で試打し、v15stiffと共に好感触だったため購入し、v15extraのmax、stiffの2.0を合わせた。86gのFLの個体でラバー合わせ188g。初感はドライブはオーバーミス連打、サーブやストップなど弱いタッチの技術は飛ばなさ過ぎで扱えなかった。何度がの練習を重ねると、回転がよくかかり、玉が深く入りやすく、サーブや台上は飛ばないため短く切りやすいと感じるようになった。ただ、スピードは速いが、玉が軽い気がする。また、グリップは細くて少し角張っていて私には適していた。

  V>15 STIFF

  

  I used the 2.0mm on the backhand of a Quartet VFC. When I test-hit it in a shop, I really liked how manageable it was, and later bought it along with the blade. It's really easy to lift underspin with. You can hit deep, aggressive underspin returns on a low trajectory. You can get quality topspin drives across a wide range, from an early contact point all the way to mid-distance. It ended up making my backhand topspin rallies really stable. Also, because the ball comes off the rubber quickly, it's harder for your opponent's spin to affect you, which keeps blocking and countering stable too. I felt that a sinking-in stroke suits it better than a pure brushing stroke. Having listed all these strengths, I did find that the stop tends to pop up a little. Other than that though, it felt great overall and helped me sharpen my backhand feel. Lastly, since I changed the whole blade this time, I went with 2.0mm to manage the weight, but next time I think I'll try going thicker.

  カルテットvfcのバックに2.0を使用した。店舗で試打した際に、扱いやすさがとても気に入り、後にラケットと共に購入。とにかく下回転を持ち上げやすい。低弾道で深く攻撃的な下回転打ちができる。早い打点から中陣まで広い範囲で質の良いドライブができる。バックでとても安定した引き合いができるようになってしまった。また、玉離れが早い分、相手の回転を受けづらくブロック、カウンターまで安定する。擦るより食い込ませる打ち方が適していると感じた。ここまでこのラバーの利点を挙げたが、ストップが少し浮きやすいと感じた。しかし、それ以外はとても好感触であり、バックの感覚を磨くのに役立った。最後に、今回はラケットごと変更した事もあり重量を考慮して2.0にしたが、次回使う時は厚さを上げてみようと思った。

  V＞15 Extra

  

  Used max thickness on my forehand. When I test-hit it at the store, my drives kept dropping into the net and I couldn't handle it. When I first started using it, I'd also switched blades at the same time, so my drives noticeably went long a lot. I'd used Fastarc G-1 for a long time, and with the same stroke it wasn't going in consistently - but once I switched to the image of taking the ball right from the top, I started getting consistent, deep, low-trajectory shots. Also, it's not very sensitive to the opponent's spin, and since it's hard with a strong sheet, techniques I use a lot, like stops and pushes, and playful chop-block-style thin brushing techniques, are easy to do. That said, I feel the drive has less spin compared to the G-1. However, while with the G-1 I liked aiming loops that used spin to push the opponent's block long, with this one loops tend to land deep easily, which is nice for setting up an attack after cramping the opponent.

  フォアにmaxを使用。店舗で試打した際には、ドライブは何度も落ちて扱えなかった。使用を始めた頃はラケットも変えたことによりドライブのオーバーミスが目立った。長い期間ファスタークG1を使用していたが、同じ打ち方だと安定して入らず、ボールの真上を取るイメージで打つと低弾道で深いボールが安定して入るようになった。また、相手の回転に鈍感であり、硬くてシートが強い為、ストップやツッツキといった普段多用する技術、カットブロック気味に薄く擦るような遊び系の技術がやりやすい。ただ、G1に比べてドライブの回転量は減ったと感じる。しかし、G1を使ってた頃は回転量でブロックをオーバーさせるループを狙うのが好感触だったが、こちらはループが深く入りやすく、詰まらせてからの攻撃が狙いやすい良さがある。

  I used the 2.1mm on the forehand of a chop blade. This rubber's strengths are the high amount of spin on loops, and how sharp and consistent the trajectory is on chops and pushes. I paired it with a low-bounce chop blade, and the ball landed deeper than with other tension-type inverted rubbers I've tried. The sponge is a cool purple color, but it does have a somewhat distinctive smell.

  カット用のフォアに2.1を使用。このラバーの利点は、ループの回転量が高いこと、カットやツッツキの弾道が鋭く安定しやすいことです。カット用の弾まないラケットに合わせたが、他のテンション裏ラバーを貼った時より玉が深かった。スポンジの色が紫とかっこいいが、少々独特な臭いがする。

  Fastarc C-1

  

  I used Thick on my backhand. For me, the ball sank into the sponge too much, making it hard to put spin on it. Meet-shot techniques were very stable, but since I brush the ball a lot on my backhand, it didn't suit me.

  バックに厚を使用。自分にはスポンジが食い込みすぎて回転を掛けづらかった。ミート系技術はとても安定したが、バックは擦ることが多い自分には合わなかった。
