  I bought this right when it came out — one of the earliest blades with ZLC. As I remember it, it came in a "3+2" construction, and both the Amultart (shakehand) and Halwatart (Japanese penhold) were released.

  In short, this is a blade that picks its user — I don't think just anyone can handle it.
  In particular, if you're not confident in your short-game skills, I think it's hard to use well.

  Also, a lot of the individual blades are heavy (over 90g), so with spin-oriented tension rubber at max thickness on both sides, it might be tough for junior high schoolers or women.

  That said, while I've listed some negatives here as my personal impressions, there's no doubt this is a wonderful blade.
  That's probably why, even though it's discontinued, it still trades on auction sites for more than its original retail price.

  Rather than flat-hit power shots, the speed on speed-oriented drives is fantastic. On the other hand, I found looping against backspin a bit tricky. It tends to fly somewhat flat and straight, so it feels better suited to close to the table rather than mid to away from the table. If you're someone who's good at topspin rallies from further back, you'll probably need a rubber that produces more arc.

  発売してすぐ購入。ZLC搭載ラケットのはしり。『３＋２』の構成で、アムルタート(シェーク)とハルワタート(日ペン)が発売されたと記憶しています。

  一言で言うと、使う人を選ぶラケットで、誰にでも扱えるわけではないと思います。
  特に、台上技術に自信がないと使いこなすのは難しいと思います。

  それに、重い（90ｇ超）個体が多いので、両面回転系テンション特厚だと、中学生や女子にはきついかも知れません。

  以上、個人的感想としてマイナス面をあげましたが、すばらしいラケットであることは間違いありません。
  だから、廃番になってもいまだに、オークションサイトなどで、販売価格以上の値段で取引されているのだと思います。

  ミート系強打より、スピードドライブでのスピードがすばらしいです。反面、対下回転でのループドライブは少し難しいと感じました。若干直線的に飛ぶ傾向があるので、中後陣より前陣の方が向いている気がします。下がってのドライブ引き合いが得意な人の場合、ラバーで弧線を出す必要があるかと思います。

  JOOLA ROSSKOPF EMOTION

  

  The one thing that bothers me is that the handle is thick. Other than that, I'm happy using it.

  The feel is definitely not bad. It comes down to preference, but for an inner-carbon blade it has a pretty firm feel, not the typical soft "puff, puff" feel that inner-carbon blades usually have. That said, if you prefer the crisp, "clack" feel of an outer-carbon blade, you might find this a bit different from what you want.

  It has just the right amount of bounce that doesn't get in the way of the rubber. Topspin rallies away from the table might be a bit tough if you don't have much power, but close to the table it's no problem at all.

  Its biggest strength is that the ball doesn't drop short on blocks.

  Lately I've been using this blade exclusively for coaching.

  気になる点は、グリップが厚いことです。それ以外は満足して使っています。

  打球感は決して悪くありません。好みはあると思いますが、インナーにしてはしっかりとした打球感で、インナー系特有の、所謂”バフ、バフ”という感じではありません。ただ、アウター系の”カチっと”した打球感が好みなら、ちょっと違うかな、と思うでしょう。

  ラバーの邪魔をしない程よい弾みがあります。台から離れての引き合いは、力がないと少し厳しいかも知れませんが、前陣ならまったく問題ありません。

  最大の長所は、ブロックでボールが落ちないことです。

  最近、指導では専らこのラケットを使っています。

• JOOLA VIVA

  

  The classic 7-ply blades are things like the Swat, SK7, Extra 7, the 7P-2A series, the Clipper series, and the Ovtcharov Senso V1, but I think the VIVA (Rosskopf VIVA) is also an excellent 7-ply blade.

  In a word, it's a blade where you can really feel the virtue of not bouncing too much.

  Its best feature is good maneuverability (including control), and the short game is very easy to play. I'd especially recommend it for doubles.
  Also, since it's relatively light, even if you put max-thickness spin-oriented tension rubber on both sides to cover speed and spin, it still stays in the 170g range, so I think it's easy to handle.

  One thing that bugs me is that the grip is a bit small (narrow), so it might not suit people with large hands.

  ７枚合板での定番は、スワット、SK7、エキストラ７、７P-2A系、クリッパー系、オフチャロフセンゾーV1等ですが、VIVA(ロスコフVIVA)も非常にすぐれた７枚合板だと思います。

  一言でいうと、跳ねない良さが実感できるラケットです。

  操作性(コントロールということも含めて)が良いことが一番の特徴で、台上処理が非常にやりやすいです。ダブルスでの使用を特にオススメします。
  また、比較的軽量なので、スピード、回転をカバーするため、両面回転系テンションラバー特厚を貼っても170g台で収まるので扱いやすいと思います。

  気になる点としては、グリップが若干小さい(幅が薄い)ので、手の大きい人には向かないかも。

  TIMBER 7 OFF

  

  Compared to the Tibhar 7 OFF/S in the same family, it doesn't have as much bounce, but the balance is good.
  Since it's a scorched-top-ply type blade, it's similar to the SWAT.
  It has noticeably less bounce than the SWAT, but since the blade is thin (spec is 6mm), it's easy to get spin on the ball.

  The feel and sound of the ball are closer to the Allround Evolution than the SWAT.
  The listed weight is 87g, but it seems like there are quite a few lighter ones out there (mine was 81g), so I think it's easy to handle even for beginners.

  I think this is perfect as an entry-level 7-ply blade.

  同系統のティンバー７ＯＦＦ／Ｓに比べると弾みませんが、バランスは良いです。
  上板焦がし系ということもあり、ＳＷＡＴに似ています。
  ＳＷＡＴよりかなり弾みは落ちますが、板厚が薄い(仕様値6mm)ので回転はかかります。

  打球感、打球音はＳＷＡＴよりオルエボに近いです。
  重量は仕様値87gですが、軽い個体が結構あるみたい(自分のは81g)なので初級者でも扱いやすいと思います。

  ７枚合板のエントリーモデルとして最適だと思います。
