The spin is honestly nasty. It does feel pretty hard though, but that depends on your stroke too. Anyway, spin is easy to generate, so chiquita is easy, and if you put it on your forehand, everything — serves, drives, pushes — was easy to pull off. That said, pushes and stops fly forward a lot more than with other rubbers, so it takes some getting used to.

Since the Apolonia is designed for European players, it really flies. Among inner-type blades it might be the hardest one out there. Though not quite as hard as an outer-type. On light hits it's not that different from a regular wood blade. Hit it hard and at first it overshoots. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes amazing. It gave me speed and spin — a great blade overall.

There was no technique that felt hard to do. If I had to name something, it'd be the speed. Players used to outer blades might feel it doesn't bounce enough. It's kind of obvious, but since it's an inner blade, with a light hit the bounce is almost the same as an all-wood blade — you have to hit hard to bring out the carbon's benefits. It's a blade I'd also recommend to someone switching from an all-wood blade to their first carbon blade.

Above all, this thin grip is appealing and makes the short game easy too. Chiquita especially. Since it's Matsudaira's signature model, the backhand is clearly designed to be easy to swing! Apart from the grip, it's almost identical to the Timo Boll ALC and Zhang Jike ALC, so I'd recommend the Matsudaira Kenta ALC to people who are good at backhand or like a thin grip, and the Timo Boll ALC or Zhang Jike ALC to people who prefer a thick grip. Honestly, it just comes down to preference.
