This is the latest racket! The Three Musketeers of Portugal are so cool. Apolonia in particular is impressive with his comebacks from mid-distance. I'd recommend this for anyone who plays an all-around game like Apolonia!

I've been using this for 5 years. Compared to outer blades like the currently popular Viscaria, the bounce and ball speed are lower, but the inner construction lets you hold the ball longer, which I think makes this a blade that lets you outmaneuver opponents with pacing and catch them off guard. Since it's an inner-type, it does take some extra swing power to really send the ball flying, so it suits someone who can generate a decent swing.

I used a KVL blade from Company A along with the Apolonia. With the former, when I hit with the high-elasticity inverted rubber from Company Y that I usually use on my forehand, I kept overshooting and couldn't even keep the ball on the table.
Pairing the Apolonia with the Curl P3-alpha overshoots a bit too, but the short game let me control the ball right into my opponent's weak spots, and the chops were well controlled too.
The Red Monkey Spin is a tension rubber, so I expected it to be far worse than the high-elasticity rubber, but the topspin drive actually landed solidly.
I'd been avoiding Butterfly products for a while (since the team I used to belong to was big on Butterfly), but I ended up liking it.
Once the feel came back to me, I felt I could play a nastier game than before.
The design is cool too.
I like it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Judging from a lot of the core material, I have to admit the Thiago ZLC inner is really well suited to movement and to amateur players.

The very first thing I noticed using this blade was how much my backhand improved! Flat hits, loop drives, and speed drives all felt easy to do! On the forehand I put on a tacky rubber, and I felt the spin on loop drives and long shots was really strong! That said, I felt it couldn't quite beat the combination with an outer ALC! The short game, flicks, chiquitas, and stops are all easy to do, so it's a well-balanced blade! The backhand in particular is easy to use and helps you improve your technique quickly!

I was hesitant to buy because of the price, but I went ahead and got it.
The feel is soft with a vibration that carries through to your hand, and since I also want a sense of the ball flying, this blade suits me perfectly.
It holds the ball well, and hitting hard gives you speed too. It also produces a nice arc, so I still haven't quite gotten a feel for the distance. Once I get a handle on the distance, I think it'll be great for both loop drives and speed drives.
I think you can get the ball quality that matches your swing.
I've used all kinds of blades, but this one gives the feel and ball quality I like, so I'm glad I bought it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I used tension rubber up until I switched to a tacky rubber. It felt lighter in hand than its listed weight. It bounces more than an outer ALC, but it doesn't bounce out of control on its own. It's easy to use and works well for both topspin drives and flat hits — a real all-arounder. That said, maybe because it feels light, smashes feel crisp and satisfying, but the topspin drive didn't quite feel right to me, so if you're someone who drives the ball hard a lot, I think bumping it up to over 190 grams would make it perfect. Once I added weight myself, that mismatched feeling went away. Also, I'd recommend using the blade you actually want to use. Even if it doesn't feel right at first, you'll get used to it later. Personally, I don't think settling for "this'll do" tends to last very long.
