I used this as my first blade. The bounce is about the same as a bouncy chopping blade. After that I used a really bouncy outer-carbon special-material blade, but I've come back to the Korbel again. With the special-material blade I used to overshoot a lot, but with the Korbel I tend to miss into the net instead. That said, it's excellent for chopping, and since the blade head is smaller than dedicated defensive blades, I think it's a good blade for practice. On the forehand, a tension rubber makes it bounce too much, so putting on thin Mark V gave me a nice feel for chopping. The backhand can also be kept under control depending on the rubber.

This was a blade I bought when I switched from being a topspin-drive player (using an Infinity VPS) to becoming a chopper. For a defensive blade, it was on the bouncy side, but coming from a drive-style player, it actually felt like it didn't bounce enough.
Forehand chops tend to go long, but I think you can control that depending on the rubber.
Backhand chops are easy to control (well, it is a defensive blade, lol). Also, putting short pips on it made the weight heavy enough that it tended to cause injuries. I thought it worked well with medium or thick rubber on the forehand and long pips on the backhand.
By the way, the blade's weight is 100g — the heaviest out of five I measured at the store. When I actually weighed it, none of them matched the catalog weight exactly. There's individual variation.

    Really great

Even though it's a 7-ply, the spin is amazing

It's fast too, and it's become one of my favorites

It had a really nice feel. I borrowed one to try, and it's such a good blade that I'm already thinking about going to buy one.

It flexes a lot. And it bounces a lot too. The feel was very much like a wood blade.
