  HURRICANE PRO Ⅲ TURBO ORANGE

  

  I switched over from DHS Provincial Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge (untreated).

  This applies to any Chinese rubber, but whether you're driving against topspin or backspin, you won't get a good drive that combines both speed and spin unless you close the racket angle and make solid impact.

  However, since this rubber uses a Japanese-made springy sponge, even a player without much muscle power like me can hit drives with real speed behind them.

  In particular, drives from mid-distance — which were difficult with the untreated Hurricane — were relatively easy to land in the opponent's court.

  Also, if you deliberately open the racket angle and brush over the top of the ball, the speed drops, but I found it easy to hit a sinking drive that makes the most of the Chinese rubber's grip on the ball.

  My impression is that this is a rubber that makes it easy to switch between going for speed and prioritizing spin.

  Lastly, this rubber is heavy. I'd say it's nearly 10 grams heavier than Provincial Hurricane 3. So if you're already right at your equipment weight limit, I'd recommend using a lighter tension rubber on your backhand.

  紅双喜の省狂3ブルースポンジ(未打底)からの移行です。

  どの中国ラバーにも言えることですが、対上回転・下回転問わず、面を立ててしっかりとインパクトしなければスピードと回転の両立した良いドライブが打てません。

  しかし、このラバーは日本製の弾むスポンジを採用していることもあり、私のようにそこまで筋力がないプレイヤーでもスピードの乗ったドライブを打つことができます。

  特に、未打底のキョウヒョウでは難しかった中陣からのドライブでも比較的簡単に相手コートに収めることができました。

  また、あえて面を伏せてボールの上を擦るようにすると、スピードは落ちますが、中国ラバーの引っ掛かりを最大限に活かした沈むようなドライブが打ちやすいと感じました。

  スピードを出したい時と回転を重視したい時の使い分けがしやすいラバーという印象です。

  最後に、このラバーは重量があります。省狂3よりも10グラム弱重いと思います。なので今の用具でギリギリだと感じている人はバック面を軽いテンションラバーにすることをお勧めします。

  AZAREA Offensive

  

  Switched over from STIGA's Offensive CR WRB. I used it with the Penace.

  The Offensive was a thin, flexible blade that didn't have much bounce, so with this one I felt a real snap on power shots like fast drives and smashes.
  That said, it doesn't bounce too much, and you can consistently pull off grazing-type strokes like loop drives and serves.
  Compared to 7-ply or carbon blades it might feel a bit lacking, but if you're currently using a low-bounce 5-ply and want a bit more speed and distance, I'd recommend this one.
  Since it doesn't bounce too much and flexes just the right amount, I think it also pairs well with Chinese rubber.

  stigaのオフェンシブCR WRBからの移行です。ペンエースを使用しました。

  オフェンシブは板薄でしなりがよく弾まないラケットだったこともあり、スピードドライブやスマッシュなど強打系の技術において弾きの良さを感じました。
  しかし、弾みすぎるということはなく、ループドライブやサーブなどの擦る系の技術は安定して出せます。
  7枚合板やカーボン系のラケットに比べると物足りなさを感じますが、現在5枚合板のあまり弾まないラケットを使っていて、もう少しスピード・飛距離が欲しい方におすすめです。
  弾みすぎず程よくしなるので、中国ラバーとの相性もいいと思います。

  RIGAN SPIN

  

  I originally used the Fastarc C1 and wanted a rubber with a bit less bounce, so I tried this one.
  Using it on the backhand of a Chinese-style penhold blade.

  - Topspin drive
  Drives against topspin are very stable since the bounce is on the low side. That said, it's hard to produce a piercing, fast shot, so unless you aim for a specific course or step around to hit forehand, it's hard to score points with it.
  Against backspin, even though the sheet grips well, brushing the ball to loop it over didn't clear the net (some of that is my own lack of skill).
  Hitting a bit thicker and letting the ball sink in more made it more stable.

  - Chiquita
  The sheet grips well and the bounce is on the low side, so it's very easy to do. Hard to generate speed though.

  - Block
  The sponge hardness is on the soft side, but since the sheet is a bit hard, you can block the opponent's drives stably without getting pushed back.

  - Summary
  I'd recommend this to anyone using tension rubber on the backhand who wants a bit less bounce and more control.
  It's not too soft, so even intermediate players should be plenty satisfied using it on the backhand.
  It's also good if you want to learn the chiquita.

  元々ファスタークC1を使用しており、もう少し弾みを抑えたラバーを求めてこのラバーを試してみました。
  中国式ペンの裏面での使用です。

  ・ドライブ
  上回転に対するドライブについては、弾みが控えめなため非常に安定します。ただし、打ち抜くようなスピードは出しづらいためコースを狙うか回り込んでフォアで打ち込むかしないと得点に結びつきづらい印象です。
  下回転に対するドライブは、シートの引っ掛かりが良い割に、擦って回転で飛ばすような打ち方ではネットを超えませんでした(私の技術不足もあります)。
  やや厚く当てて食い込ませるようにすると安定しました。

  ・チキータ
  シートの引っ掛かりが良く弾みが控えめなので非常にやりやすいです。スピードを出すのは難しいです。

  ・ブロック
  スポンジ硬度は柔らかめですが、シートがやや硬いので相手のドライブに押されることなく安定して返せます。

  ・まとめ
  バックにテンションラバーを使っていて、少し弾みを抑えコントロール重視にしたい方におすすめです。
  柔らかすぎないので中級者の方でもバック面の使用なら十分満足できると思います。
  また、チキータを覚えたい方にも良いと思います。
