I feel like this really shows its true value when paired with a harder blade.
For the drive, rather than sinking the ball deep into the sponge, if you brush the surface instead you get a ball with more spin than you'd expect from short pips.
For meet shots and smashes, the speed is beyond complaint. Control takes some getting used to, but the power is more than enough.
If you're switching over from inverted rubber, there are probably situations where you'll find it harder to control.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The long pips on my backhand become incredibly stable with this.
Since the surface is hard, the pips tip over more easily, which makes for more variation.
For the same reason, I can tip the pips myself more easily too, so the variation I add is bigger as well.
It's a blade that doesn't naturally fly much, so it doesn't get much distance, and it's pretty easy to hold back power shots too.
On hard hits, the flex of the blade produces really sharp, fast balls. It's a strange feeling - on soft taps or light hits it barely flies at all, but then this happens.
I can really recommend this to unorthodox-style players.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

I was bouncing around between blades, but I settled on the Acoustic.
Whatever type of rubber you put on it, it brings out the best in it.
My style is mainly flat hitting, but maybe thanks to the flex, the speed comes out more than I expected.
I use long pips on the backhand, and blocks are really easy to keep controlled and stable with this.
A really great blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I bought this switching over from short pips on my forehand. I used the thick version.
It doesn't produce as many knuckle balls as short pips, but the impression was of a short pips rubber that can now put on spin and has become a bit more sensitive to spin.
Angled shots dig sharply into the opponent's court, and you get at least a minimal amount of spin.
Personally, I found it more stable to drive by really sinking the ball into the sponge rather than just brushing the surface.
I can really recommend this for anyone switching over from short pips. I'll definitely keep using this rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It varies automatically.
When I tried to add my own chop, control got difficult, and with my current skill level I couldn't really make full use of it.
I felt this suits players who just persistently block rather than players who chop on their own or attack using a wide range of variation.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
