Among short pips rubbers this one sits right in the middle.
It grips more spin than Spectol and releases the ball faster than Spin Pips.
I used it on the backhand for chopping, and of course it works for backhand-pips choppers, but I think it also works fine for close-to-the-table fast attack.
Its defining feature is that it can produce a decent amount of spin while not being much affected by the opponent's spin.
For players using spin-oriented short pips who struggle with getting overpowered by their opponent's shots, this rubber might just be their savior.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is the rubber I'm currently using.
I used it on both sides at first, but on the backhand, while blocking was easy, it also felt easy for my opponent to attack, so now I use it on the forehand.
My first impression was "is this really a tension rubber?" — the sheet and sponge are so hard that it made a hard, clacking sound.
On flat hits it didn't feel like it bounced that much, but hitting a drive with it surprised me! It doesn't drop at all — if anything the ball comes up so much it tends to overshoot.
As for sound, well, since it's a hard rubber, you don't get a good sound unless you really hit with power, but the speed, which you wouldn't expect from a tacky rubber, was a real draw.
The downside is that it's a bit of a wild (lacking in consistency) rubber, so it might not suit every level of player.
Other than that, I'd say the only issue is the high price.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Even though it's an outer-carbon blade, the feel is softer than an inner-carbon one, and it has more bounce. Also, the ball release isn't as fast as typical carbon, so the ball flies off in a wood-like arc.
Aside from only being available in a flared grip, I'd say this is without a doubt a top-class blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

As the first rubber in the Tenergy series, its track record speaks for itself.
Beyond the balance of speed and spin, it was one of the rubbers that made a huge impact right after speed glue and boosting agents got banned.
And above all, the sound of the hit!
That crisp, metallic sound feels great when you hit the ball!
Personally I sometimes wished it were a bit harder... but then there's a Hard version too, so it really has everything covered.
Other than the price, there's really no notable downside to this rubber.
Maybe it's also a bit easier for opponents to read since so many people use it.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

My first impression was that this is a fast-releasing rubber
I could do long and short serves, but the spin amount tended to fall short, so I got punished instantly by flicks and chiquitas
On drives, the ball leaves before you can really put spin on it, so it doesn't arc much — even trying to snap it with the wrist, the rubber just slips and you end up with a dead, floaty ball with no spin
That said, it also kills the opponent's drive spin by slipping the same way, so you can get away with a fairly sloppy counter-smash and it still lands
It's a rubber that really depends on the user and their playing styleOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
