2.0mm, 47.5g after cutting.
Used on the backhand of a 7-ply all-wood blade with good ball-holding feel.
High performance and rounded. Other people have compared it to Butterfly rubbers, and I got a similar impression myself.Good points
- Soft hitting feel, higher-pitched impact sound
- Surprisingly high arc for a Rasanter
- Serves bite well
- Stable over the table, chiquitas and flicks are both easy
- Blocks stay on the table
- Doesn't drop off even on contact hits, and flat hits work tooDifficult points
- With my blade and swing, it holds the ball too much and I kept overhitting
- And yet the ball comes out a bit shallow
- C48 got spin even with a light graze, but C45 doesn't perform unless you sink the ball in as much as with the R series
- Countering feels more automatic with C48I think this really should be paired with a harder, faster blade.
I'd recommend it for people who like to settle into rallies without forcing their shots.Or, if you're using an outer-ply blade

Thickness 2.0, 46g (no glue).
The sheet is incredibly soft, and the feeling of it grabbing the ball is really satisfying. Personally, I felt a hint of Dignics 64 somewhere in the background.
That said, R48 has a flatter, lower trajectory in comparison.Spin is more than enough, and it still has good bounce even at 2.0.
With Max thickness the feel gets kind of mushy and the ball really flies. Better suited to more advanced players.Hitting against backspin with a light brushing stroke was a bit tricky.
If you get lazy or tentative with it, you'll net the ball.
It's better to really sink the ball into the sponge rather than just brush it.I tried it on both sides with both a 7-ply and a 5-ply blade, and

There are already plenty of detailed reviews out there, so I'll just note what stood out to me:
- Noticeably less bounce than 05
- Even a mediocre chiquita will still land on the table
- Blocks stay controlledIf you're after something light with rock-solid stability, I don't think you'll have any complaints with this one.

The speed is insane, the ball sinks into the topsheet really easily, and it feels the best out of all the Tenergy rubbers to me.
The trajectory is relatively flat, but it still has that Tenergy-like grip on the ball.
Meet-hitting is easy to do too - you're better off playing a style that makes the most of the speed.
It's not the type of rubber that has that long, grabby spin feel.Being lightweight is nice too.

It was 49.5g at max thickness.
It's light for a Chinese rubber and still gives you that classic tacky-rubber ball, so
if you've been wanting to try Hurricane at least once, I think this lets you experience both its good and bad points.
It's easy to handle, but compared to tension rubber it's a completely different animal.I paired it with a bouncy outer-carbon blade, but even so, forehand hits barely bounce at all — enough that people can tell it's Hurricane just from that, lol
