Kanata (Experience: 4〜5 years) Also great with short pips!

      Player reviews

Because it's a rounded shape with relatively subdued bounce, I could play with short pips on it without any strange feeling at all.

Masato Tanaka 00 All-round, for penhold

      Player reviews

Being a 9mm single-ply blade, both the bounce and the feel are great!

Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to move from a plywood penhold blade to a single-ply one!

Compared to plywood it does have more bounce, but the comfortable, wrapping feel on contact is addictive.

Tanaka 0569 Recommended for Japanese penhold beginners

      Player reviews

I used to play with a Japanese penhold blade back when I was actively competing, so I bought this one again.

The soft feel of the hinoki wood is irresistible.

The bounce is also kept fairly restrained for a single-ply hinoki blade, so it should be good for people just starting out in table tennis.
