Compared side by side, the Lin Yun-Ju SZLC:
- Gets solid spin on the topspin drive, and the ball dives down hard once it lands on the opponent's side.
(That said, it's not soft. If you swing slowly with a light hit, the spin drops off and you get a flat, floating ball, same as with other blades.)
- Feels hard on light hits, but holds the ball well on hard hits.
(The Zhang Jike ALC, by comparison, is fairly flat.)
- Even with the same rubber, the rubber feels softer on the Lin Yun-Ju SZLC.
- The tension rubber's characteristic grab is strong, so counters are easy.As for the downsides:
- When you try to get the ball into the opponent's court by the shortest path in the shortest time, it sometimes lands shallower than expected, and it loses a lot of speed after crossing into the opponent's court.I'd recommend this blade for:
- People who value a high arcing trajectory
- People who struggle with net misses or overshooting on hard topspin drives, and want more consistency
- People who want a lightweight blade but still get enough bounce and ball-holding even with thick rubber on both sidesThat's who this blade is for.

I had it all wrong.
I hadn't realized just how amazing the Super ZLC special material used in this blade really is.
When you put spin on the ball, the speed comes with it too, so it's a really great blade.
Counters are easy too — just a light swing and it goes in.
Chiquita is easy to do as well, and it lands deep.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

This is the blade used by Taiwan's ace player, Lin Yun-Ju.
It was insanely expensive.
But after buying it, in terms of performance, chiquita and counters are easy to do.
Also, backhand stability is strong, same as with the Viscaria, and I was able to pick up the short game skills quickly.
On the forehand, the spin carries well and the shots have a lot of power.
Lastly, the grip color looks really cool.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Good — not much power but fast, not a lot of spin but high control.

Kikusuke (Experience: 11〜20 years) They say it's hard and super fast, but...

I bought this used and have been using it.
My practice buddies tease me about it being too hard, more suited to large-ball play, way too fast, and that I must be rich (laughs), but I think it suits people who aren't focused on spin-heavy play and instead want power out of a smaller swing.
Most individual blades of this model tend to run light, so it's a combination where you can swing all the way through even with Dignics 05 max thickness on both sides.
I've tried Tenergy 05, Rasanter R48, G1, and various others, but they were either too soft or didn't check every box for weight, power, and spin — in the end, Dignics 05 was the one that clicked best for me.
It's over-spec'd equipment, but with the right timing and some getting used to it, you can still get spin on the ball, and above all I love the exhilarating feel of powering straight through the ball and the overall hitting feel.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I always end up hitting spin-focused drives no matter what, and even with Dignics rubber I couldn't get fast shots through, so I jumped straight from a wood blade to the Super ZLC. I figured it would be tough since the ball leaves the blade so fast, but it actually gives more arc than I expected, so deep shots come easily and the ball goes in sharply. I'm very satisfied. Also, even with Tenergy 05 and Rozena max thickness on it, the weight of the blade never bothered me, and I could swing fast, so I get to play exactly the way I want — satisfying. Counters also come out sharp, deep, and fast even with a small swing, so I'd really recommend this to people like me who tend to rely on spin to generate speed, or to anyone looking to focus on counter-attacking.
