It looks like it would be hard, but in practice it didn't feel all that hard. That said, given the price, I'd say it leans more toward a slightly bouncy blade than a control-oriented one, so it might be hard for someone brand new to table tennis to handle. But if you're a beginner looking for a control-leaning blade with a bit of bounce, it could be worth trying.

It doesn't bounce that much, but the feel is really good.
Topspin drives are easy to put on the ball, and I've used many different 7-ply blades over the years, but personally this is the best one I've tried.
It has a Senzo-style grip, so the balance is toward the tip, which might not suit everyone, but overall it's a blade where both drives and smashes feel great and are easy to control.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
