    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a high-performance rubber for aggressive players, featuring speed comparable to Tenergy 64 and excellent spin performance. However, the hardness of the sponge and difficulty in control are noted as factors that limit it to skilled users.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Speed performance comparable to Tenergy 64
    • Soft topsheet makes spin easy to apply despite hard sponge
    • Requires technical skill to master effectively
    • Powerful drives suited for aggressive play
    • Heavy weight may be difficult for beginners
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpeed output matches Tenergy 64, and spin generation is comparable to Tenergy 05. The destructive power of drives and smashes is exceptional.
▽ CriticalThe hard sponge causes the ball to rebound immediately on lifted balls, resulting in frequent net errors. Requires strong hitting power and swing speed to use effectively.

Ultra-black cat (Experience: More than 20 years) A rubber that's powerful in rallies away from the table

      Reviews by user

I used this on my forehand because I wanted more power on my shots. The first time I hit a drive with it, I was surprised by how much the sheet grips the ball and how soft it feels. The sponge is quite firm, but thanks to the softness of the sheet, it didn't really feel like a hard rubber overall. It's a rubber that gives you power when rallying away from the table, but I didn't find it especially hard to use for serving or the short game either. I really liked it and used it for a while, but I recently stopped. The reason is that during serve-and-attack rallies, whenever my opponent's return came back a bit half-hearted and high, I kept missing into the net. My guess is that because the sponge is hard, it rebounds too quickly when you smash a floating ball. I feel like someone with a faster swing and more power in their hitting could really finish off those chance balls. I felt like I couldn't fully make the most of this rubber with my own ability, so I stopped using it. That said, this rubber has a lot of potential, so if you find the Vega lacking, or if you want something cheaper than Tenergy but still good, I think it's worth trying at least once. It's a bit heavy, but it's a good rubber.

Tugo A wild one, but surprisingly balanced too

      Reviews by user

I bought this because it happened to be cheap on Amazon. It's fast, and since it's DF the sheet grips the ball well, so I got surprisingly good spin out of it too. I could put good spin on my own serves as well. The sponge cells are coarse and it felt softer than the hardness rating suggests, but the hardness is still 50 degrees, so control can be an issue at times. Still, if you can handle it, I think it's a really good rubber.

      Used on my forehand.
      - For its rated hardness, the topsheet is soft, so it doesn't feel hard at all
      - Drives that sink the ball into the sponge have great power
      - A bit heavy
I'd recommend it for power hitters!

KOU (Experience: 4〜5 years) Fast but heavy rubber

      Reviews by user

I have this on the backhand of my Zhang Jike T5000.
My first impression using it was that it's fast - just really fast. Even compared to Tenergy 64, the Omega V Asia was faster. In terms of bounce, it bounces more than Tenergy 64, so I felt the control was a bit harder to manage.
Also, maybe because I'm using the max thickness, it's heavy. Combined with a Skyline 3 forehand rubber, the racket ended up around 213g. So it's fine at first, but as I play more sets, my shoulder gradually stops wanting to come up. I think a thinner sponge would be better!

osino @ Nameless (Experience: 6〜10 years) This is good

      Reviews by user

A lot of reviews say it's hard... but that's probably because I play Japanese penhold.
When I actually used it, it didn't feel all that hard to me. It has speed comparable to the Tour and Pro versions, and it's easy to put spin on. The one thing that felt different was the sound - drives from mid-distance make a nice sound as they fly off. If you really commit to the swing, it should carry even further.
From away from the table, I ended up netting more due to control issues.
I think if you can master it, you can hit good drives from anywhere. So I'm going to keep practicing with it.

The control is super easy. But if you don't get a solid impact on the ball, you just don't get the speed you're hoping for.

Junior high school students with 200 grams (Experience: 4〜5 years) Good for the backhand

      Reviews by user

I'm using this on the backhand of an old SK7 at 98 grams.
It's easy to put spin on and the speed leaves nothing to be desired.
That said, I felt returning backspin balls was a bit tricky.
I'd recommend it to players with a full swing.
Blocks tend to turn into counters.
The ball leaves the rubber quickly, so control is on you to manage yourself.
I've only used it on my backhand, but it should work fine on the forehand too.
I felt like this rubber taught me how to put spin on the ball all over again.
