The core ply, thick while permeable, improves the hitting effect. The short hits become more changeable and threatening. Those medium-long ones have the stability as well as the wonderful changes.

I'd recommend this to players who attack aggressively off the backhand side like Wang Hao,
as well as players who use tacky rubber.
That said, plenty of other players can use it too if they want to —
it works. It's got strong bounce and can cover for the rubber's shortcomings.
The one thing I don't like about it is the hardness.
It's hard. Almost unbelievably hard.
And because of that, I'm not really a fan of the feel either…
I'd recommend it to intermediate-to-advanced players. Actually,

For players who attack aggressively off the backhand like Wang Hao.
For players who use tacky rubber.
I'd recommend it to both. And if other types of players want to use it,
it works for them too. It has strong bounce and can make up for the rubber.
The one thing I don't like, though, is the hardness.
It's hard. Hard enough that it barely feels like it's from this world.
Because of that, I'm also not a huge fan of the feel on contact…

I used this with a Chinese penhold grip. Being all wood it holds the ball fine, but it's just too hard. Sometimes I can't even tell if I'm getting any spin on it. Xu Xin used to play with this too, but that was thanks to doping, so there's no way us amateurs could ever pull off what he did.

Among bouncy blades, this one makes backhand play really easy, so it's good for players who use inverted rubber on the backhand. Forehand power is more than enough too, so I'd recommend it to intermediate players and above!

It's got noticeably more speed than the Hurricane Hao 1, so it feels great.
You can really punch through with topspin drives.
