For an outer blade, I felt it doesn't fly too much and is actually pretty easy to control.
The ZL carbon's ball grip and how easily it takes spin
are both good, I think. Honestly, I don't think the hardness of your rubber matters much. That said, if you go with a hard rubber,
I don't think a middle-schooler would be able to generate enough impact. Speed comes out decently and the ball lands deep, but this isn't equipment meant for maximum distance. I think it suits players who can relax their arm and really put spin on the ball. It doesn't have that heavy, driving feel. The more you aim for a spot, the more your shots turn into straight, flat balls.
If you don't put spin on it, you won't get any arc.
The short game is really easy to play - for flicks,
as long as you don't close the racket face too much, you can pull off anything.
For stops, cutting the ball with the surface of the rubber stops it really well.
It's not equipment you play with by muscling the ball, and
if you ask whether you can win a point outright with one shot, the answer is no. I think it's a rally-type blade that's good at producing a steady stream of decent, medium-paced balls.
Forehand drive: easy to put spin on, the ball travels well
Backhand drive: grips the ball well, so it's actually better to hit with than the forehand
Short game: ridiculously easy
Block: the ball comes off fast enough that you won't get overpowered
Counter: absolutely great for players who like to counter-hitOverall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
Recommended rubber (Forehand) TENERGY 05 HARD
Recommended rubber (Backhand) GLAYZER
