This time I switched from Darker's Aqua Blade Chinese-penhold version to the Fan Zhendong ZLC Chinese-penhold version, so I'll talk about it in comparison with a 7-ply wood blade.
First off, in terms of speed and how the ball carries, this one is overwhelmingly faster and carries further, haha.
Even with a light touch it makes a high-pitched sound and the ball naturally comes off sharp and fast, catching the opponent's court off guard.
It's also easy to hit chop-type balls or penhold-pips variation balls, since the blade itself flies a lot and is much lighter than an all-wood blade, which makes it easy to create change-of-pace opportunities off differences in swing speed and ball-holding, then finish with a barrage of smashes — that style of play has gotten a lot easier.
Even though the performance changed so drastically, it didn't take much effort to get used to it, so I think it's actually quite controllable.
The control is genuinely good, so I'd recommend it to women's players or players without much power who still want to hit balls with a sense of speed and sharp smashes. I play penhold with short pips on one side, and I actually love the higher-pitched sound that comes from it being an outer-ply blade, haha.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Switched over from the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce super ZLC.
The bounce isn't overly strong, and it feels like it flies more than the Franziska ZLC.
That's not to say it doesn't fly — when you want it to fly, it delivers, which really shows what ZLC can do.
The blade is thin at 5.5mm, and even within that ZLC feel you can sense some flex!
It pairs well with tacky rubbers — I'd recommend Tibhar's K3 or K2, and I think Hurricane rubbers work well too!
On the backhand, it's easier to control than you'd expect from ZLC, and tension rubbers like Dignics are totally fine on it too!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Anyway I thought the balance was great! Since the blade is thin, spin really bites in when you want it, and when you want it to fly the ZLC power carries it for you. Maybe because the blade is thin, the weight is centered in the handle so it feels light and the grip is easy to hold too, which makes it the easiest racket for me to use. The easiest technique with this one is countering — just a light swing sends a nasty ball flying. You can control the short game well too. I recommend pairing it with Dignics.

Even though it's a ZLC blade, maybe because I have Dignics 05 on it, it draws a nice clean arc and drops down onto the table. Being ZLC, the ball speed comes out strong, but since the blade is on the thinner side at 5.5mm, the ball release is neither too fast nor too gripping — the ball-holding is just right, making it very easy to control. Also, thanks to the thin blade, it flexes nicely, so even though it's an outer-ply blade, swinging through it puts plenty of spin on the ball. Counters are easy too — between forehand and backhand, I felt the backhand was easier to control. The grip is neither too thick nor too thin, and comfortable to hold. One thing to watch out for: if you're set up too close to the table and hit a flat ball, it can fly in a straight line and catch the net before it has a chance to arc — but if you put proper spin on it, you're fine. Compared to other blades, I really felt the strengths of this one even more.

I wasn't good on the backhand, but switching to this blade helped me improve. That said, it takes a while to get used to.
