Highly praised for its excellent power and spin performance, though it requires considerable skill to handle. Recommended for intermediate to advanced players rather than beginners, with some noting a learning curve for precise touch shots.

Chiken (Experience: 6〜10 years) Basically a Viscaria

      Player reviews

I bought the Gyoen FL at 85g. I was using the Viscaria 85g before this.
This is a review after a bit more than a month of use.

For about the first week I honestly thought it felt almost the same as the Viscaria.
But when playing light touches over the table, it doesn't fly as much as the Viscaria, so I had more net misses until I got used to it.
Same thing with serves, they came out a bit shorter too.

Other than that, I think it's fair to say it feels the same as the Viscaria.

      Player reviews

It really packs a lot of power, but I think it's hard to control for someone who's just moved past being a total beginner.

      Player reviews

The compatibility with tacky rubber was amazing.
It was easier to send over higher-quality balls than with the Wang 3.

      are1 are1 Too hard

      Player reviews

Since it's outer carbon, if you don't already have some skill, the ball flies off too fast and it's hard to put proper spin on it.
For intermediate players I'd recommend the Sou Ten instead.

      Takachi Pretty easy to use

      Player reviews

You can get plenty of spin and power out of it, so it's a great blade that works well for both intermediate and advanced players.

The design looks great and the performance is top-notch too.
The grip feels so comfortable in the hand that backhands come out feeling really good.

Supartivo (Experience: 4〜5 years) Balanced blade

      Player reviews

Forehand is Hurricane Neo Blue Sponge, backhand is Nittaku Hammond Z3.
Fast and spinny with the Hurricane, powerful backhand with the Hammond Z3.

The rubber has a heavy head feel with a low, vibration-free trajectory.

Kind of reminds me of the Timo Boll ALC.
