I don't really understand the specs that well, so I'm going by feel when I hit the ball paired with the rubber.
Does it widen the sweet spot? Thanks to the wood fiber layer, even with Hurricane Pro 2 medium-thick, which I'd heard doesn't bounce much, I've never once missed from lack of bounce. If anything, it snaps off nicely on backhand smashes and speed drives. And since I use tacky rubber, the wood fiber helps my backhand short shots land consistently on the other side of the table. The sweet spot also feels wide, which makes the feel on the ball soft and pleasant.
Because it's a rounded blade shape, control is solid. It probably depends on the rubber too, but I'd say the maneuverability is quite high. Even though it's just a single medium-thick sheet, the weight doesn't bother me at all even with a tacky rubber that's supposed to be heavy — though that probably depends on your own strength too.

Opppo (Experience: 6〜10 years) Almost a single-ply blade

      Player reviews

The feel has quite a bit of hold to it, very similar to a single-ply hinoki blade.
Also, the sweet spot is wide, so it forgives minor mishits.
