This is just plain a good rubber. Out of every rubber I've used, this is the most ‘tacky rubber’ feeling one. With tension rubbers, the drive trajectory feels kind of like a screwing motion, but with this tacky rubber the trajectory is so clean it's almost mesmerizing to watch. The spin is pure and gets put on at a crazy level, but because it's pure spin, it's actually easy to return. That said, since a lot of people get the wrong idea, let me say this clearly: a tacky rubber isn't something anyone can use — it's a rubber that only a skilled player with impact, the technique to generate spin, and good feel can really make the most of. Online, some people put tacky rubbers on a pedestal, which leads middle schoolers with no real knowledge to buy them and then complain that they don't get any speed. Unless someone with solid fundamentals uses it, drives come out as straight, powerless balls, and because you're so affected by incoming spin, you can't even receive properly. Without a brushing stroke, the spin you get is no different from any ordinary high-bounce rubber. Without good feel for the ball, you can't stay close to the table either — you end up backing away and making mistakes. I can't really say I'm doing all of this myself, but I want people to know that this isn't a rubber that your average middle schooler or beginner can handle.

I use this on my backhand. When I was using tension rubber, I had Raigan on there and my pushes used to float up. Now that I'm using Kyohyo, my pushes don't float anymore, and when I push, it grips even more backspin, so I'd recommend it.

Switching over from Bluestorm, which was too heavy for me.
I'd been using Hurricane Bluestorm on my forehand since it first came out.
Switching to Pro 2 feels kind of like going from a Tackifire Drive to a Tackiness Chop.
The ceiling on various things is lower, but it's light and easy to handle.
That said, I barely use topspin drives - I mainly use it for pushes, chops, smashes, and serves - so when it comes to ball speed on a full swing, Bluestorm is clearly the winner.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Thick, forehand side.
The most impressive thing was how erratic the ball got - loop drives would even dip down.
I also tried the Pro 3, but 3 has more bounce than 2 so it felt harder, which made 2 easier to use for me.
For loops, I found it works better to relax and brush the strong sheet in an instant, rather than tensing up trying to grip the ball.

It's just a genuinely good rubber. Out of every rubber I've used, this is the most "tacky rubber" feeling one there is. With tension rubber, the drive trajectory feels kind of like it's screwing into the ball, but with tacky rubber the trajectory is so clean it's mesmerizing to watch. The spin is pure and insanely strong, but because it's pure spin, it's actually easy to return. That said, a lot of people get the wrong idea, so let me say this clearly: tacky rubber isn't something anyone can just pick up and use. You need real skill - solid impact and a feel for generating spin - or you won't be able to use it properly. Online, some people put tacky rubber on a pedestal, so clueless middle schoolers buy it and then complain that it's not fast. If someone without solid fundamentals uses it, their drives turn into straight balls with no spin, and they get affected by the opponent's spin so much they can't even receive properly. Without brushing technique, the spin isn't any different from an ordinary high-bounce rubber. Without a feel for it, you can't stay close to the table either, and you end up backing off and missing shots. I can't say I've mastered all of this myself, but I want people to know this isn't a rubber that random middle schoolers or beginners can handle.

Using a Korbel 89g, with red 52g max thickness on the forehand and black 45g max thickness on the backhand. Total weight including side tape is 187g. The sponge is orange, which looks cool.
Almost no air bubbles. THE Chinese rubber.
There's a lot of variation between individual sheets. Your arm gets tired if you keep swinging for a long time - time to hit the gym.
On the forehand, light hits bounce about like Mark V. Hit a drive and it really flies - noticeably more bounce than Rakza. The ball gets pretty erratic too - apparently my practice partners were getting hit by some wild balls. Loops against backspin are also rough and unpredictable. The sense of unstoppable speed is on another level. Everything comes up easily. Meet-shots are stable.
On the backhand, light hits feel a bit stiff - maybe because the ball doesn't sink into the sponge as easily. The lack of bounce stands out. But once it becomes a drive, it's amazing - the extension on the ball is crazy. Plenty of margin even from mid-distance. Update after a month of use: mid-distance play on the backhand might be tough.
Over the table, both sides are the strongest I've used. Flicks, no-spin flicks, chiquitas, stops, and drives over the table - it can do everything. The over-the-table drive arcs quite a bit, so you need to hold back a little or you'll keep overshooting.
Serves are easy to do well.
Even with a low-bounce blade (a flexy one) plus a low-bounce rubber, you can still overwhelm your opponent with how much the spin carries.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Paired it with a rock-hard inner blade. You get this ringing metallic sound and a nice, tight ball trajectory. The timing of the ball leaving the rubber is spot on, so meet-shots and smashes have plenty of speed. And best of all, brushed topspin drives land right where you want them.
