      God Flies well

I got it cheap by buying online.
The bounce is good but it's a bit hard to control.
Drives might be a little harder to put spin on,
but smashes are easy to hit.
      It's more suited to close-to-the-table quick-attack play.
The grip is really thick because the blade itself is thick.

Pekoe (Experience: More than 20 years) A blade made for smashing through

      Player reviews

      The speed is first-class!
You get speed that lets you blast right through, not just close to the table but even from away from it!

As for control and spin, because the speed is so high you need a bit of time to adjust.

The feel is on the hard side since it has wood fiber in it, so there's barely any flex, and it doesn't feel like anything is coming back into your hand. A slightly softer rubber gives better balance, better control, and makes it easier to put spin on the ball.

As for the trajectory, it's not as flat as carbon, but the ball still carries well.

It's not especially light in weight, so you need to adjust with rubber thickness. I've got a medium-thickness rubber on both sides and it comes to 143 grams.

My impression using it is that this blade suits short pips really well. The smash you can blast out with this blade is exhilarating, plain and simple!

      Yutchi @ cut The single-ply

      Player reviews

It really feels like a classic single-ply blade, with the kind of destructive power only a single-ply can give, but the control is lacking, so I'd say it's for advanced players.
