Spin, speed, how easily it flicks the ball off, and how easy it is to produce knuckle balls - everything is well balanced!

Angle shots and topspin drives are both easy to do!

    There's really no notable weakness!
If you're torn over which tension short pips to get, you can't go wrong just picking this one!

Personally though, I'd like a bit more bounce.

Performs exactly as advertised — a short pips rubber built for hitting away.
It suits players who attack with spin rather than with knuckle balls. Both speed and control are excellent. That said, since the sheet has some grip, it's also more affected by incoming spin. It takes some getting used to, but once you master it, you can blast through shots while staying stable. You can play with confidence even on humid days. If you want more consistency in your game, I think it's worth trying.

The bounce is moderate, so it's really easy to control! Blocking, angled shots, and the short game all feel stable! That said, it's not lacking in speed, and spin is easy to generate too, so I found it really easy to use and great value for money, lol

When you hit it, it makes a fairly high-pitched "clack" sound and you can feel it in your hand.

The back is painted solid black and is slippery. There's no half-moon cork. It seems fine either to put rubber on it or to add cork as an anti-slip.

This really lives up to its reputation as one of TSP's long-selling blades!

Spin is beyond complaint! No slipping either!
Control is easy too, but the ball release and speed fall a bit short.

Better suited to drive players than to angle hitters.
Also, because the rubber's pips are packed in tight sideways, it's on the heavy side.

I think it works fine if you use it as that.
As a penhold short-pips setup, it was too hard for me. I also put it on a firm blade, so I think anyone using it will get a better result pairing it with a softer blade.

Smashes, counters, and blocks were all good, but I found serves and the short game difficult.
