NO.1 table tennis review site

I bought this because it was really cheap on Mercari, and I was surprised once I used it!
With rubber on both sides (Dignics 09C and Dignics 80), it weighs 172g! I'd been using the Harimoto Super ALC at 192g, so switching to the JO shape felt so light (lol)
I'm not sure if it's because it's lighter, or because the egg-shaped tip is good, but my swing speed clearly went up, and I got more speed and spin power than with the Harimoto, which surprised the people around me too!
I personally feel the difference in speed myself — even on shots I'm a bit late to, like when my opponent catches me off guard, the lightness lets me swing through hard, and my backhand feels easy too, like I can't miss. The backhand swing-through is great across the board! Another good point is that, even though it seems to have carbon in it, it feels almost like a pure wood blade and resonates really well in the hand, and stops near the table on the forehand side stick really well! Serves also feel less likely to pop off the table. As for blocking, the Harimoto gives more of a sense of security, but I guess that's unavoidable since the JO shape is light and the blade is small.
Overall, this is a really good blade!

I'm using the ST (straight) handle.
First of all, I think this grip fits really well for people who hold the racket deep.
It has carbon in it, but it's not that hard and doesn't fly too much, so even with a full swing it lands on the table nicely without going long too often.
Maybe thanks to the grip, shoot drives and curve drives are also pretty easy to pull off, so I'd recommend this to more technical players.
Also, the grip design is stylish!

For me, this grip was the easiest to hold of any I've tried. The blade itself is quite soft, so even with a hard rubber on it, shots still land on the table. It's the kind of blade where if you swing, it goes in. Blocking is easy too, and I think it's a blade really suited to putting spin on the ball. It doesn't bounce much, so in tense match situations I'd recommend swinging pretty hard. Also, since switching to this blade, I've been hitting the edge of the table less, lol.

I use the ST grip.
Since the grip is hollow, I expected the swing weight to be head-heavy, but with the JO shape and its small head, the balance point is probably closer to the grip instead. Because of that, it feels almost like you're hitting the ball directly with your hand. That said, the feel is hard and the sweet spot is narrow, so it's probably hard for beginners to control.
