This blade is sealed from the factory so there is no need to add a sealing service.

The new Yasaka blade Galaxya has been developed by Japanese players in close collaboration with Yasaka’s Swedish blade factory. The players greatest desire was to have a fast and powerful blade, suitable for challenging the ultimate offensive game. The result is a seven layer blade, the inner veneers having a unique blend of precisely combined thicknesses to give the basic power characteristics. The outer veneers are medium soft, specially chosen to add better ball feel characteristics to the Galaxya.. The Galaxya comes with a thin double lacquered surface and attractive print design.

Cass (Experience: 4〜5 years) Power is easy to get out

      Player reviews

The first thing that surprised me was the power - it has real power even though the blade is thin. It's also easy to put spin on, and the speed is decent too.
It's really easy to handle and well balanced, with amazing flex too.
That said, being 7-ply, it's heavy even with a thin blade.
So I'd recommend it for intermediate players and above who are confident in their power.
I found it suited both hard and soft rubbers.
It also pairs well with tacky rubbers.

Keith (Experience: 4〜5 years) Good balance

A masterpiece that handles everything competently while still giving you power. It's heavy, though, so it's tough without at least a bit of muscle.

      Player reviews

It's not light, but backhand blocks are easy to do and the softness gives you good control. That said, since it's not light, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone without much power. It's for power hitters who still want a bit of control.
