I bought this because I wanted to swing the backhand with a Chinese-style grip.
Since the blade is thin, it's somewhat easy to be affected by the opponent's spin.
On the other hand, it's also easy to put spin on the ball yourself, and I could feel the pips on the short-pips side flex over nicely, which left a good impression.

This blade is amazing. Plenty of bounce. You can do almost any short-game technique with it. In particular, the backhand chiquita lets you go either speed-focused or spin-focused. On top of that, backhand drives paired with C-1 are outstanding! It'd be way too much of a waste to use this as a short-game/blocking blade only. Since it doesn't bounce too much and gives you a well-balanced ball, this blade is really aimed at intermediate players and up, but check your wallet and definitely give it a try!

It feels more like wood than carbon.
Even if you prefer the feel of an all-wood blade, I think you'll come to appreciate this one once you get used to it.
The blade is thin and light, making it easy to swing through.
I found it noticeably easier to put spin on the ball.
