It can do pretty much anything. I think it falls into the lighter category of rackets. So even if you put max-thickness rubber on it, I don't think it gets too heavy! Personally, since my Omega is

I switched from FL to ST, and it fits my hand really well.

Three times rice to ping pong (Experience: ４〜５ years) For those who want that 5-ply feel

This racket can be used by anyone from beginners/intermediates who want stability on attack, to advanced players who like the feel of a 5-ply blade.
Since it's on the softer side, spin grips really well. Every spin-related technique is very easy to do.
(That said, it doesn't have that much distance. Because of that, players without much power should use tension rubber. With tacky rubber, you can't get a grazing drive to go in — you're stuck with only the driving-into-the-ball type.)
For topspin drives, hitting with a grazing motion gives a higher trajectory, while driving into the ball gives a lower trajectory. It's a racket that's perfect for playing with changes of pace on your topspin drives.
Since Ishikawa, the player who developed it, is the type who wins through rallies, it's also strong in exchanges close to the table.
I'd recommend it as a racket for close-to-mid-distance attacking players to learn technique with.
For people who end up wanting more than this racket offers, there's the "Kasumi Special" — which is sort of like an evolved version of this racket — and the "Latica / Latica 7 / Latica Carbon," which are built based on the Kasumi Basic.

Overall it was easy to handle. It wasn't well suited for speed-focused play, but topspin drives and all-round play felt really good with it.

I started playing table tennis in my first year of middle school, and with the Kasumi Basic, the ball goes exactly where I want it to — I think the control is amazing! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's a bit lacking in spin, so I put rubbers on it that seem to generate more spin, like Hurricane. I picked my rubber pretty randomly, so don't take it as a reference. But this combination got me all the way to nationals, so if you've got some money to spare, why not give it a try (lol)
