I was using this around the time speed glue got banned.
I had it on my backhand side, and the trajectory was fairly flat, so speed drives and smashes were easy to hit.
Compared to today's popular German-style spin-tension rubbers, it falls short when it comes to driving backspin balls and generating spin, but it's actually easier to use for flat hitting styles.
I think it's an easy rubber to use for players close to the table who hit a lot of flat shots.All Speed Spin Control

The firm sponge was a perfect match for the soft Kasumi Basic blade. Topspin drives are consistent too, and since the topsheet is tacky, you get plenty of spin. Because the sponge is hard, I'd recommend it for the forehand, but since the rubber itself is lightweight, I think a thinner rubber would be better for the backhand. You could use the same rubber on both sides, but since it's hard, using it on the backhand is a bit tricky I think.

This rubber is built around control. It's not really a rubber that generates a huge amount of spin, but it's consistent, and when you really sink the ball in for a hard hit, it gives you a bounce that can rival modern tension rubbers. Safe connecting shots land exactly where you picture them, and that's where it really differs from modern tension rubbers. It's a rubber I'd recommend for players who prioritize consistency and keep spinning the ball, or for players who keep chopping.

I think the sponge is really what makes this product great. Thanks to it, the destructive power is amazing. It's very well balanced and I think it's easy for anyone to use. Beginners can use it too.
