I tried a Chinese penhold blade for the first time.
This racket is very easy to use, and for a carbon blade it doesn't send the ball flying too much, which in turn makes it very manageable and stable.
　It's easy to handle, yet you can still get carbon-level speed on drives and smashes, so I'd recommend this racket to people trying Chinese penhold for the first time, penhold players switching from pips to inverted rubber on both sides, or penhold players who want to build up their fundamentals and level up.

It has carbon in it but it's still very easy to handle, and easy to put spin on.
In particular, punch-style techniques like pushes and flat hits were very easy to pull off.
Also, it's very light, so it's easy to maneuver.

Forehand side
Thanks to the rubber (Vega Tour), it's really easy to put spin on the ball, but with the Yasaka Mark V I used before, it was easier to block than to spin.
Backhand side
The rubber is Plaxon 400, so on the backhand it's easier to block than to spin as well.
Like on the forehand, I used to use Yasaka's Mark V, but this bounces even more than the Mark V, so it feels more like just making contact than actually hitting the ball.
The blade itself has carbon in it, so after a light topspin drive the recovery is quick.
If you swing using your shoulder blades, the recovery gets even faster lol

Honestly, it was disappointing.
It's fast, but spin is hard to put on the ball (maybe because of the rubber?).

The good points: the initial speed off the blade is fast (quick release, no real gripping sensation), but it doesn't fly far, so control is good. It's light (75g).
The bad point, though this might come down to personal preference, is the feel. I'm not sure how to put it...
On light hits, the carbon makes it feel hard, but on hard hits, it feels hollow, jars your hand, and feels soft. You end up getting pushed back by your opponent's shots.
And then there's the weak spin, and how light the ball feels.

I'd only recommend this for close-to-the-table, fast-attacking players who are quick on their feet and good at short game.

I thought it was an SK7 with carbon added, but it's completely different — 3 wood plies plus 2 carbon plies.
It's a light blade that's easy to control.
Might be a good fit for people switching over from an all-wood blade.
