In terms of the top ply and the flex, it doesn't pair that well with long pips. But as gear for chopping, it's a wonderful blade!

The bounce isn't too strong, so it holds even powerful shots down well.
Since the blade is thin, it flexes a lot, so when you get a solid hit in, you can produce a plenty powerful drive. As you'd expect from STIGA, the feel is pleasant and the control is spot-on!My unit weighs 83g, making it a lighter chop racket. The blade shape is on the larger side — it feels like the throat area is a bit narrower than the Defplay Senso's, with a bit more length.
As for the grip, the straight handle is standard thickness but a bit thick, and the flared handle is quite thick — about the same as the one Chen Weixing uses.
I use the flared grip myself, but note that it's not JTTA-approved.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch
