Since a Japan League player, Oshima, was using this and I got interested, I tried it, but it bounced too much for me. My chops had a lot of over-the-table misses.
That said, I think it becomes a really easy rubber to use for an attacking player!
Since it's a tension-type short pips rubber, it grabs the ball and springs off from there, so attacks from over the table to close to the table are stable, and it produces fast blocks that make for balls that are hard to deal with. It's a straight-pip short pips rubber, but I think it's worth trying at least once if you use tension-type short pips rubbers.

This rubber lets you easily rattle off fast drives with a stable trajectory. That said, it's quite soft, so blocks and counters tend to come back as easy balls for your opponent.
Chops don't bounce as much as you'd expect — if you like soft rubbers, this one should feel really good. It just didn't suit me.
For serves, because the rubber is soft, it was hard to keep them short.
If a chopper is looking to step up from an easy rubber like Tackifire D, I'd recommend this as a first tension rubber. Since it's soft, the normal V>01 might work well too.
For drive players, if you don't have much power and want to drive with your forehand, this could be good. If you're confident in your power and want to use it on the backhand, there are probably better rubbers out there.
For the backhand side of a penhold looper, I can highly recommend it! It's light, so it doesn't get in the way of your game much.

I'll compare Hurricane (hereafter "Hurricane") and Skyline (hereafter "Skyline").
Serve: Overall, Skyline > Hurricane
Amount of spin: Hurricane > Skyline
Handling: Hurricane > Skyline
Ease of faking: Skyline > Hurricane
Hurricane makes it hard to hit a fast long serve, so it's difficult to mix long and short for fakes.Receive: Overall, Skyline > Hurricane
Push/stop: Hurricane > Skyline
Flick: Skyline > Hurricane
Skyline releases the ball faster, but Hurricane has better spin.
Hurricane is definitely better suited for putting heavy cut on the ball.Drive: Overall, Skyline > Hurricane
Skyline outperformed Hurricane here, but honestly this probably comes down to personal feel.
For players who score with counters and blocks, Skyline seems better; for players who break the opponent down on the 3rd/4th ball and finish them off next, Hurricane seems better.Chop: Overall, Hurricane > Skyline
With Hurricane, the ball stays low and the difference in spin is very large, while your form is hard to read.
Since it doesn't fly too much, handling stops when the ball comes back short is easy. Compared to Hurricane, Skyline has similar spin but is harder to keep under control. The kind of player I'd recommend Hurricane to is someone who likes a hard hitting feel and scores points with loop drives!

The sheet is soft and the sponge has a strong sense of grabbing the ball, so it holds the ball well and the feel is soft.
Because of that good ball-holding, drives land in the court reliably even when you're playing off the table, and the trajectory is easy to read.
Close-to-the-table drives lift the ball even off an early contact point, so it's easy to convert into points. Being easy to place is another good point! For chopping, even though there's a strong grabbing sensation, an almost vertical swing keeps the chop from floating up, and you can also chop it low. Being able to chop knuckle balls on your own is nice too! No complaints when it comes to chopping!
The short game is a bit hard to put spin into, and pushes tend to float a little, so you need to be careful there.
The serve doesn't generate huge spin, but it's easy to add spin to, so if you're a player who can serve low and short, it should be fine.
For a chopper trying tension rubber for the first time, I'd really like you to try this one! It has everything a chopper needs!
The short game bounces a bit too much, and power falls short when trading blows off the table, but overall there aren't that many rubbers this high-spec, so let's overlook that and work on our skills.Overall Speed Spin Control

Thanks to how hard it is and how well it grips the ball, serves and short-game techniques are really easy to do with this rubber!
The backhand serve especially cuts really well, and its spin performance is right up there among tension rubbers. For topspin drives, you'll overshoot unless you cover the ball and drive through it, but if you sink it in a bit and hit, it leads to points.
For topspin rallies, it was too hard for me and the ball tended to go in flat without spin, but if you're confident in your swing speed, you can rally with it.For chopping, since the rubber is hard, a scooping chop just floats up and becomes an easy ball for your opponent, but if you chop almost vertically with a sharp downward motion at a low contact point, you can get a low, well-cut chop, and even if it floats a bit it won't get smashed easily.
That said, no-spin chops might be harder to produce. The downside is that it wears out fast and stops gripping the ball quickly. It also doesn't suit hard blades very well.
I'd like to recommend players for this, and honestly, I'd recommend it to pretty much everyone except people who just can't handle a hard rubber at all. It should be a perfect fit especially for junior high schoolers who use more topspin drives than smashes!
It's also nice that your serve return gets stronger with it.Overall Speed Spin Control
