      It has Frees Carbon in the outer layer, and it's a well-balanced blade.
      It doesn't have that quirky feel typical of carbon,
      so I'd recommend it even to people who like wood blades.

      My son, who's in his first year of junior high, is using this as his second blade.
      For reference, his first blade when he started junior high was the TSP SWAT 5-ply (5PW).
      He seems to have transitioned without any issues, and the rubber compatibility seems good too.
      I also play myself, so we practice together every week, and his drive power has increased — he's definitely gotten stronger.
      His drives come in with so much force now that even I, receiving them, sometimes can't keep them under control.
      I plan to stick with this combination for a while.

      Even though it's a special material blade, it produces a really nice arc.
      Among inner-type blades, it has top-class arc and excellent stability.
      It's light, yet it flies about as much as a 7-ply blade around the level of the SWAT Power, so you can really feel the bounce.

      I can recommend this even to top elementary and junior high players who attack aggressively with topspin drives.

      For rubber, I'd recommend pairing it with something that flies in a straight line, like Rasant or 64.
      An arc-heavy rubber would also work, but it seems a waste when the blade itself already creates the arc.

      Alternatively, a tacky rubber meant for light-contact grazing shots might also be good.


      For example, this would suit a player who started in the early years of elementary school and is graduating from a kids' blade around 5th or 6th grade,
      or a female middle/high school student whose main weapon is the drive,
      or, for boys, a control-oriented player who focuses on topspin rallies.

      This is the blade that would fit best in those cases.

      Both backhand and forehand are easy to meet the ball with.
      Backhand blocking is easy, but the forehand blocking was hard because the grip is too thin, it wobbled too much, and I couldn't keep it steady...

      Of the series, this was the easiest to use.
      However, the thin grip was very hard for an adult man to hold.

      My SWAT cracked, so I bought this one because it's an easy-to-use special material blade. It's light, so you can't expect much heft on the ball, but it's easy to put spin on. I really recommend it for anyone who wants to feel the ease of use of wood combined with the power of carbon! It's also faster than the SI in the same series, so I think this one has better balance.

      Very easy to use at a reasonable price! It's easy to drive and hit flat shots, and short pushes and blocks are also really easy to do! It gets good spin too, highly recommended!
