With TIMBER 5 the ideal entry into the competition area is possible, with moderate speed but high control rates and thanks to maximum ball feeling. Bounces really well. I had the discontinued Core 7 in mind, but after actually using this one, I feel the Core 7 is better in both bounce and spin.
I think this blade's strength is that it's easy to hit fast topspin drives with. Control is tricky because of the bounce, but once you get used to it, it's powerful.
I test-hit a bunch of other blades too, but this was the only one where I noticed a lot of odd overshooting misses on drives. Once you get the knack of how to hit it, you can produce good shots. Despite the bounce, the ball-holding isn't bad, so it's easy to put spin on it too. I feel it's suited to players who bring the game into mid-distance rallies rather than staying close to the table. It pairs well with spin-oriented tension rubbers and tacky rubbers.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It's easy to use. I think it's perfect for switching to a 7-ply blade for the first time. There's no technique in particular that's hard to pull off, so I think it's easy to use even for beginners. Plus it's cheap. And the grip looks cool.

Compared to the Tibhar 7 OFF/S in the same family, it doesn't have as much bounce, but the balance is good.
Since it's a scorched-top-ply type blade, it's similar to the SWAT.
It has noticeably less bounce than the SWAT, but since the blade is thin (spec is 6mm), it's easy to get spin on the ball.The feel and sound of the ball are closer to the Allround Evolution than the SWAT.
The listed weight is 87g, but it seems like there are quite a few lighter ones out there (mine was 81g), so I think it's easy to handle even for beginners.I think this is perfect as an entry-level 7-ply blade.
