With our TIMBER Line, we rely on the pure performance of natural wood and veneer structures. In the layer structure we differentiate in 5 or 7 layers. With TIMBER 5 the ideal entry into the competition area is possible, with moderate speed but high control rates and thanks to maximum ball feeling. TIMBER 7 blades are standing for more hardness and should be understood as the suitable alternative for variable topspin players who prefer to hit the ball with a pure wood racket.

tobimame (Experience: 4〜5 years) Best value for money, though preferences may surprisingly vary

      Player reviews

Here are my impressions after a month of use.
The control is the best I've had. Cross-court shots from close to mid-distance go exactly at the angle and trajectory I want, and you still get decent speed, so attacking feels great.
Where opinions will differ is spin and feel. Topspin drives are great, but the slightly thicker grip might be awkward for some people during the short game or serving. The softer feel is also something people may be split on.
For me, the smooth material and slightly thicker grip fit my hand perfectly, but I'd personally prefer a feel with quicker ball release and a sharper, harder click. The basic performance is excellent, and factoring in the nice design too, I think it offers great value for money.

I was looking for an affordable 5-ply, and this blade has really good control and is very easy to use. The feel is soft and flexible. The bounce is quite good too, so the ball flies further than expected. It pairs well with harder rubbers and short pips, and it's a blade that beginners through intermediate players can use without any trouble. The grip is on the thicker side, so be careful if you're buying it online.

It's easy to control, and you can go after the edges of the table with confidence. However, it has an odd kind of bounce, so blocks and stops tend to run a little long.

Noripee (Experience: Less than a year) Balance ◎

      Player reviews

I compared this to similarly priced blades like the Korbel, SWAT, Gaia II, and Atlas, and out of those I felt this one held the ball best and was the easiest to control. If I had to pick a downside - and this is with my own limited skill factored in - blocks feel a little less settled.
It lets you put on solid spin while still having a moderate amount of bounce, so I think it's a perfect blade for beginners.

Nakayama (Experience: 2〜3 years) Speed and control balanced, usable even by beginners

      Player reviews

This is my impression from borrowing it from a junior teammate. First off, the control is amazing! And the speed is pretty good too, so smashes land one after another. Everything else about it is pretty average. This is a great pick for someone who loves hammering smash after smash!

Glass man (Experience: 4〜5 years) andro's version of the Korbel

      Player reviews

      THE 5-ply.
No quirks, easy to handle, and cheap, so
I can recommend it to anyone buying their first racket.

It has that grip-the-ball feel unique to 5-ply blades, so it's easy to put spin on.
In terms of power, it naturally can't match a 7-ply, but for players up to intermediate level
      it's more than good enough.
