IThe V > 01 Limber rubber is the slightly softer version of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The goal of the development of this version was to produce a High-End offensive rubber in the medium segment. The German and Japan material experts (GJ Tec) combined the extremely spinny and fast High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 with an open-pore, state-of-the- art medium sponge with great catapult effect. The result is a highly- elastic, modern offensive rubber which does not fall short of the other V > 01 versions as regards power and spin.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
V>01 Limber is highly rated as a versatile rubber for beginners to intermediate players, thanks to its soft sponge and hard topsheet combination. Its well-balanced speed and control, along with a unique low-sensitivity-to-spin characteristic that facilitates blocking and receiving, are particularly appreciated by users.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points

    • Excellent balance of speed and control
    • Low spin sensitivity enables easier blocking
    • Lightweight for all skill levels

    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveA versatile rubber capable of executing all techniques smoothly, with exceptionally good control and speed. The durable topsheet doesn't lose against opponent's receives, and the drive ball goes in reliably even with slightly imperfect form—highly dependable.
▽ CriticalAdvanced players may find the spin amount unsatisfactory. Players prioritizing speed or relying on rubber performance for spin generation might find it insufficient.

Fast, and the spin is insane — a real monster rubber. But only when your body position is perfect!
Feels like it's really made for pros.

      Yakinori A chopper's perspective

      Reviews by user

This rubber lets you easily rattle off fast drives with a stable trajectory. That said, it's quite soft, so blocks and counters tend to come back as easy balls for your opponent.

Chops don't bounce as much as you'd expect — if you like soft rubbers, this one should feel really good. It just didn't suit me.

For serves, because the rubber is soft, it was hard to keep them short.

If a chopper is looking to step up from an easy rubber like Tackifire D, I'd recommend this as a first tension rubber. Since it's soft, the normal V>01 might work well too.

For drive players, if you don't have much power and want to drive with your forehand, this could be good. If you're confident in your power and want to use it on the backhand, there are probably better rubbers out there.

For the backhand side of a penhold looper, I can highly recommend it! It's light, so it doesn't get in the way of your game much.

This was the rubber I'd been looking forward to, so trying it out was really exciting. I was especially excited that it combines ease of hitting with spin. I was torn about whether to make this my main rubber.

Ping-pong panda (Experience: 6〜10 years) Light, bouncy, and soft

This is one of the so-called Tenergy FX-type rubbers — basically a softer-sponge version of the V>01.
It's noticeably lighter than the regular 01 (about 4-5 grams less on average, in max thickness), so your swing gets faster.
I like that it doesn't have the slipping-on-spin issue that used to bother me with Tenergy's FX line (and soft-sponge rubbers in general).
It feels a bit slower than the V>01, but I was told that since the swing speed goes up, it doesn't actually end up slower in practice.
