V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. It's a rubber that's been out for quite a while now, but I still think there's nothing else in this price range that can deliver this level of performance.
Good points
・Really strong against topspin — the ball flies on both drives and flat hits
・If you step back to hit, the ball speed drops a bit but it still draws a solid arc and goes in.
・Blocking is very stable, your own power transfers honestly into the shot, and it's easy to control
・Even hitting with relaxed power, the ball sinks in well and carries through
・Makes a metallic sound and feels great to hitPoints of concern
・Sometimes the sheet doesn't cooperate when hitting against backspin
・If you try to spin it using just the surface, it slips, and if you hit it too hard, instead of the spin bringing the ball down it just sails long.
・Even in backhand-to-backhand rallies, trying to carry the ball purely with spin occasionally caused it to slip and drop. You need to sink the ball in to some degree

Innerforce (Experience: ４〜５ years) High arc!

Tenergy got expensive, so I tried the VICTAS 01 Stiff that people say is similar. It's rumored to be similar, but it actually has a higher arc than Tenergy! That lets you play with a lot more stability. The speed is a bit lower, but the spin doesn't lose out, and combined with the higher arc you can play with peace of mind — it's easy to use, or rather, I think it's a rubber where the two strengths work really well together. But I guess if there are strengths, there have to be weaknesses too...
The arc is so high that on shots like curve drives, where the trajectory naturally gets a bit higher anyway, that same high arc — which is supposed to be a strength — works against you. Also, like I mentioned, the speed just isn't there! So for the backhand it's fine, but for the forehand I'd recommend max thickness. So I think the key point is how you make use of this rubber's high arc. I think it goes well with any blade. Fastarc is famous for its high arc, but this one is right up there with it! I think it's a really good rubber, so I really want people to buy it! Also, according to Gutti, the feeling is like having Tenergy 05 on the forehand and Tenergy 64 on the backhand.All Speed Spin Control

Tugo Stable and spin-oriented rubber

Personally I felt this is a "manual" rubber — meaning it's a rubber where you need your own power to send the ball. The lifespan is a little short, but my impression is that it gets plenty of spin. Loop drives go in easily too, and like I said, since it's a rubber that relies on your own power to fly, it still went in even in moments where I put in too much power.

V>01 Stiff makes it easy to get both spin and speed. But if there's one thing that bothers me, it's that personally I feel the lifespan is short.
It says it's for hard hitters, but personally I felt it's more at a level a regular player can use.
I wouldn't especially recommend it to people who are confident in their swing.
Still, I think it's impressive that it can do this much for under 5,000 yen, so if you're curious, why not give it a try?All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Takahashi Kebab (Experience: ４〜５ years) Feels like Rakza7. Couldn't quite tell the "auto" feel.

Rakza 7, which I usually use, started feeling a little too hard, so I went looking for a similar rubber that seemed a bit softer and ended up here. It turned out to be a really great rubber, and I bought it a total of three times. All three were 2.0 red on my forehand. That said, I felt the differences between individual sheets were pretty significant.
The first sheet was a bit softer, like a "Rakza 7 EL," and even though it was soft it still produced the kind of sharp drives you get from the Rakza line, which left a great impression. The second sheet had a feel almost as hard as regular Rakza (the spin felt a bit weaker than Rakza, but in exchange it was easier to produce the flatter, more linear shots typical of the V-series, and I think the ball speed was higher than Rakza too). I really liked this one too, actually more than Rakza. It gave me the reassuring short-game feel of Rakza plus V-series-like drives, which was fantastic. The third sheet was lighter than the first two, and the feel when hitting was quite a bit softer (softer than the first sheet, about as hard as 7 Soft). This feel didn't sit well with me, and in practice it didn't seem to generate much spin either. There's no specialty shop near me, so I buy online, which is why I went back to Rakza, but for anyone who can check the weight and so on in a store before buying, I'd highly recommend it. The first and second sheets were genuinely great, so this is one I'd love Rakza 7 users to try at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Just like the title says, the spin on drives with this rubber is fantastic. The speed is on the modest side, but I get the impression you can push through points on spin alone. Blocks and counters are relatively easy too, so I think it's a really good rubber. The one downside is that it doesn't last very long.

Let me say this up front: it's the best.
I've been using it on my forehand for about a year now, and it's really easy to use. I originally had V>01 Limber on my Viscaria, but the ball came off too shallow, so I switched to Stiff. It was too hard on an outer-carbon blade, but once I switched to an inner-carbon blade it became easy to use.
I recommend the thick 2.0mm version.
I wouldn't recommend it for outer-carbon blades.
It took me one or two weeks to get used to it.
Serves bite well too, which is nice.
I've used quite a lot of equipment, and among rubbers that suit inner-carbon blades — like Fastarc G-1, V15 Extra, MX-S, Tenergy 19, Rakza 7 — this one is on the cheaper side, so I'd recommend it.
I don't think it's suited for beginners though. For anyone thinking of moving from a wood blade to a special (composite) material one, I'd recommend V>01 Stiff on an Innerforce Layer ALC.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
